What a complete moron.

I can't wait to hear Verse's defence of him.

The FA more or less called him a liar, Cole's entitled to his opinion on that- just as anyone else would be.

Whether it was right or wrong, I couldn't care less and it's up to the individual to decide. Nor do I really care, it's Tw*tter.

About four posts up I stated that Cole was well within his right to hold those opinions, but it's clearly the fact he's expressing his opinions in an immature, ill-advised and childish way that he's rightfully coming under fire for.

Do you believe Cole was right to go on Twitter and say what he did, knowing full well the tension it would create?

Besides the fact he's a good footballer and has lots of money, he's no different from any other person and will make mistakes. Again, it's up to the individual to decide if they feel it's immature, ill-advised and childish, or if he was well within his rights to say what he did.

It only came about because the FA more or less accused him of being a liar, I know that I'd be quite outraged if that was me. I guess in the situation Cole is in (or any other footballer for that matter), social media is more or less the only way they can really have a say or opinion on something in a similar way any regular Joe can. The tension was already caused by the FA and how they decided to label Coles input on the matter. All Cole did was hit back at what he was being defined as.

Should he have known better, of course. Do I feel he was in the wrong, not entirely.

City haven't been great, but at least they look defensively solid so far.

Why don't we just play Leighton Baines for England and then this whole thing can blow over?

Because he doesn't play for Chelsea/Man United/Man City/Arsenal/Liverpool. If he had the form he has been in for us over the past few seasons at one of them he'd of been starting every game.

Who's the 5 Live commentator at the Everton game? He sounds quite old and posh "Baines, the old boy, smashes the penalty in".

Arsenal completely dominant then West Ham score with pretty much their only chance so far.

Typical.
