First of all excuse me for my bad english, well this year with the release of FM2014 for Linux I have some questions, perhaps some seem stupid, but I would like someone would clarify my doubts, since I have a laptop a bit old and I'm thinking install Linux, mainly Ubuntu, to go experimenting with it, I am not well versed with the penguin system, years ago I worked enough with Unix, including at management and programming in C, and with old distributions as Mandrake or Suse linux, but for work I was a little outdated for not working with it, and now I have some questions an doubts:
1. According to technical requirements FM2014 runs and works with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, the question is if FM2014 if will also work and run with other Linux releases with same kernel, for example Debian, Suse, etc ...
2. I would like to know if saved games FMN2014 on windows, it will also work and be compatible in Linux or Mac, and vice versa. Or if savegames it will not be compatible between diferent Operating System.
3. I would like to know if the graphics facepacks, logos, etc... making for windows it will be work also on Linux.
4. If the FM2014 modified data file with FM2014 editor on windows it will also work on Linux or Mac or if it will be to edit and modified again with FM2014 editor in each Operating Systems.
5. If edt, ddt and lnc files created for windows also will work on Linux or Mac, or if it will not work.
Basically these are the questions and doubts I have for now, if i have more i will post it, I hope someone more experienced in Linux will help me with my doubts. And again ecuse my bad english
Regards
Crane
