Listened to the new MGMT album earlier. Not sure what to make of it really. I loved the first and second album but this feels very experimental.

Obviously there's Gil Scott-Heron: (Particularly the albums Pieces of a Man and Winter In America)

Another one, you probably already acquainted yourself with is Marvin Gaye. What's Going On and Let's Get It On in particular.

My last bid would be Sam Cooke, who is a personal favourite of mine. Ain't That Good News is a fantastic album.

All the other radio one day time Radio One 'DJs' are woeful but Zane Lowe is one of the best night of the year every time.

Aye, Annie Mac and Pete Tong are the other ones they've got that are supposed to be good.

We've had Greg James, Scott Mills, Nick Grimshaw, Fearne Cotton and most of the day time ones and they've all been shite. Just play the charts, don't interact with the crowd, don't actually DJ, they just turn up play their pre-chosen set and go home, could be done by a 10 year old.

I saw him at a gig in London a couple of years back so shouted "Prick Grimshaw!" at him. He turned around so I ran away. He was with that tosser from Hurts.

Seen Zane Lowe a few times now as warm up to Skrillex and a few others and been really good. Seeing Pete Tong end of the year as warm up for Tiesto & Calvin Harris. If you want Radio 1/1 Extra people you wanna see Carl Cox. One of the best sets I have seen.

Try Hardwell at 5am. Was suffering from Sunstroke and fell asleep in roofbit of Pacha whilst waiting

I remember by the time Carl Cox came on, there was pretty much no room to move, breathing was a luxury in there.

It was in Space in Bora Bora, place is huge, but you could not move an inch.

It was annoying when I went. Carl Cox & Nervo's 1st gigs where like 3 and 5 days after I left. Groove Armada where at Space when I was there. Best night had to be Armin Van Buuren though. Was about 3rd row and my mate took some drink from a girl which he dident realise had something in and next thing you know hes got his shirt of spinning it over his head and he is not the skinniest of people
