Anybody know how to get rid of the family settings? I brought a pre-owned 360 the other day but I can't get on live due to the restrictions set, I need a pin code to take it off but I have no idea what that is as it wasn't supplied.

Had a look around for you. Apparently, you need to contact Microsoft tech support and there's a code you need to enter using the buttons like a cheat code kind of thing. There are a bunch of different codes for different consoles, presumably so kids can't just google it, so you've got to contact them so they can help you find it out.

Do any of you sods have a data transfer cable going spare or would know where to get a cheap one that will actually work? As I don't wanna be paying £10-£15 if I can get one that does the job for £5. But some i've seen are shite and only do Xbox to PC. So any help will be appreciated.

Errm, when I transferred stuff from my old laptop to new I just used an ethernet cable, that possible with an Xbox?

Not possible, need a specific cable that connects to the HDD. RRP of one is £15 but you see some for £5 or less but dodgy reviews, made more to connect from Xbox to PC for hackers and wankers on live. Whereas I need one that does HDD to HDD as I've filled my HDD and I wanna copy a few Games On Demand over

So i renew my gold as it runs out on the 1st of April, and the cunts charge me four times, i ring up and, they've seen the error they've made, and will refund me, however it takes thirty working days for the payment to be refunded. They've extended my gold by 3 months, given me 1,000 Microsoft points and processed the refund. Its some consolation, i guess.

What sort of games do you like?
