In FM13 I went through a whole season's stats with FC Koln and worked out that the opposition had scored with their first shot on target in 34 of my 50-or-so games played. By comparison i'd had 7. I had a superb goalie, a well-drilled defence and hard-working midfield. A lot of these shots weren't until the hour, but they always went in.

In 2014....it seems not to have been fixed still. NINE out of the first ten games as Ajax have seen the opposition score their first shot on target.

Sure, it happens a few times by the law of averages, but 90% of the time is just silly. How can something like this go on un-noticed?

Because every one else isn't experiencing it. If it's gone on for so long, I'd look at yourself rather than the game.

You haven't? Until this point, pretty much everyone i've spoken to has.

You're not kidding. Not just first shots really either, just shots in general. For just a small sample size, these are my last four games:

Shots (On Target) - Goals

Ajax: 89 (47) - 6 Goals
Opposition: 31 (17) - 11 Goals

Don't know what I can do... It happens so often with so many formations that I simply don't think it's down to me anymore. It's simply just a weird 'balancing' system built into the game. Well, it's taking the fun out of it entirely.

I've put about 250 hours into the game and I have seen nothing like this.

I hate to say it, but it is your tactics.
