Why do some regens have no faces?

How come some regens have generated faces and some don't. Some just have the black faceless portraits and i don't understand why. I rarely pick the players without a face and sometimes I miss out because they are quality players.

Even if u'r playing with the standard FM skin??

If u use a customized skin, it maybe helps by deleting the default face that most skins have.
Search in the skin u use for the graphics/pictures/players folder and delete the default face.

Mostly the original regens will appear now in your game.

Thanks for the reply. I am using the standard skin, but I am using a few mods with it - shiny logos, and this mega face pack. I don't have a default face - in fact I have no players folder at all. Any ideas? I would really like to get rid of the black faceless portraits if possible.

I hate to ask the obvious question, but are they definitely new gens as opposed to real life players who aren't part of the face pack?

Okay, what I am basically seeing from time to time (not all the time) is this. A lot of regens appear as blank portraits like below. Obviously this isn't very aesthetically pleasing. Furthermore when I see a 'blank' like that I tend to ignore - rightly or wrongly I like to see who I am 'developing'. I just can't work with those blank faceless characters. Which is a shame as some turn into inspirational players.



Now, what I would like to see, is this.



A regenerated player (I presume?) which looks a lot nicer.

I understand what you are saying about regens and real life players. I use the sortitoutsi mega face pack so I have thousands of real life faces too, which is fine, but quite a few of the other players in the game appear as faceless portraits. Is this a normal feature, or is it a bug?

Otis Webber is a real player, who's face isn't in the megapack, therefore he has just a blank face. Nothing wrong with your game at all

This is what I meant. Those players with the blacked out faces are real but don't have an imagine in the game. If you download our Cut Out Megapack this will resolve the majority or cases

If there are regens with no faces, however, this is likely because they are virtual players. They will gain regenerated faces if you offer them contracts.


This is a bit off topic, but I once got a regen named Harry Potter, rather weirdly.

I didn't realise this was the case. This game is huge with so many players. Okay, I understand what you guys are saying. But, how do I tell if a player is a regen or a real player then? I had no idea about Otis.

Newgens will always have generated faces.

Hy in my save my some of the regens have no faces its jst blank . Bt i added custom faces to them usimg fmxml still its blank for sm regens . Evrything was perfect still i have regens with facee bt some of them arr blank any tips ?
