The cup hangover strikes as we let-slip a lead to draw 1-1. We were very poor today, and to be honest we didn't really deserve the 3 points. That lives us without a win in 3 games - we must turn it round and quick if we are to make a push for promotion.

I know I've got A LOT of players, but when the opportunity comes up to sign Jordan Jones and Souleymane Coulibaly on loan without paying their wages - how could I say no? Jones will come in and provide us with another option across the midfield, and Coulibaly will hopefully provide another goal-scoring outlet. If I could tie them down long-term it would be amazing, but in reality, they are probably just short-term signings.
In other news, Alex Coleman asked to have his loan terminated. With an average rating of 6.38 in just 7 appearances, I happily obliged. He has been pretty awful for me - even as a back-up. Hopefully he can shine elsewhere, but for us it just wasn't the right fit.

Back to winning ways! Despite Larsson getting a goal just seconds into the match (a new Skrill South record), it wasn't all plain sailing. At times we looked sloppy in possession and lackluster in defence. We currently stand 2nd, just one point of leaders Ebbsfleet; if we are to leapfrog them and take top spot we MUST improve.

Another away win keeps us on course for promotion. Larsson did it again, scoring within seconds. Horvath had a good game, notching two assists, but he was an unfortunate casualty and now looks likely to be sidelined for 3-4 weeks.

Another good month sees us sit in 2nd, one point off top. In other news, I also received my third Manager of the Month award.

A solitary goal from substitute Coulibaly was enough to see of a stubborn Gosport side. We hit the woodwork an incredible 4 times before we finally got the breakthrough. It was a resilient performance, and thanks to Ebbsfleet drawing, we've taken top spot.

A solid away performance keeps us trucking-on. With results elsewhere going our way we are starting to create a little breathing space at the top. Cameron Howieson was in fine form, grabbing a goal and an assist. He's starting to look a VERY decent acquisition - maybe I can try and secure him on loan again next year.

Two goals from substitute Osvold enough to secure another 3 points. When we're at home, we win. It's as simple as that. Another top performance from the boys as we increase our grip on top-spot. This win avenged our 3-1 loss at their ground. Payback!

With the finance crisis getting worse at the club, the board have stepped-in with a cash injection of £375k, to alleviate some concerns. I know that it's my fault that we're in this perilous situation, but given time I will prove I was right. Unfortunately, with this monkey on my shoulder I'm not sure how much time I will be given.

Despite dominating the game, we somehow came away with nothing. We weren't clinical enough in front of goal and Bath certainly made us pay. Our away form has improved, so I see this a just a minor setback. That was our first league defeat in 17 games, so yeah it rankles a bit.

Being a successful side with A LOT of young, talented players has its drawbacks! Add this to the fact that I've currently got Tibbling (3-4 weeks), and Horvath (2 weeks) out injured, and you can see we are going to have problems over the coming weeks.

Despite losing at the end of the month, I felt this was all-in-all, another good showing. We've had three months on the trot where we have played some very good football - we just need maintain our focus on we will be playing in a higher division next term. As it currently stands, we are 11 points off third, but just one point ahead of 2nd place Ebbsfleet.

Another loss! When it rains it pours! We drop to 2nd after a crushing defeat. We NEVER deserved to lose the game; they had 6 shots, 2 on target, we had 17, 6 on target! To make matters worse, we were leading the game, they drew level, and then they got a winner in stoppage time. You couldn't write it!
With two home games coming up I'm determined to get the team back on-form for the run-in. I held a team meeting to boost team morale.

Cheers mate. Hopefully we can hang on. Ebbsfleet are having a VERY good season - pushing us all the way.

We triumphed in a thrilling encounter. Despite going two goals ahead, we allowed the oposition back into the game. With our recent form - I was really panicking. Fortunately, Baumgartner rose above everyone to head home a winner. The defender was unstoppable today as his two goals helped secure a vital 3 points.

Another home game, another win! A fantastic performance from the boys; Jai Reason came in and did well in the absence of Horvath and Tibbling. After losing 3-1 in the reverse fixture it was nice to get some revenge. We look like we're on our way again. That win has secured us a playoff spot. We're getting close!
mully99
I only have two away games left thankfully. We were sh*t again! I don't know what has happened to our away form. Despite twice leading the game we lose - I give up!

The lad has been battling injuries on and off since the start of the year and its finally caught up with him. Probably my fault for playing him so soon after injury. It will be interesting to see how we fare without our prime creator in these last few games.

The Silverlake fortress proves impenetrable once more. We've been unbeaten all year at home in the league, and today was no different. Back to winning ways courtesy of goals from Acapandie and Ladapo.
mully99
With just five games remaining we sit 2nd, two points off top. Our last game of the season is away at Ebbsfleet - could that be the game that decides the title? We've beaten them twice, but away from home it could be a different story.

The team with the best home record in the league (unbeaten), took on rock-bottom Farnborough in a thrilling match. With newly-relegated Farnborough having nothing but pride to play for, it was not surprising to see the Spitfires emerge victorious.
mully99
A big away win against struggling Staines as we continue our push for the title. We have a busy month ahead but we've started well. That win has taken us top, one point ahead of Ebbsfleet.
mully99
Another huge home performance! A top showing from the boys gives us a 4-0 victory over rivals Dorchester. Hunte was incredible, scoring one and setting-up 2. Top player!
mully99
Another home win. Absolutely fantastic performances at home this year - UNBEATEN all season! Jadan Hall and Jordan Larsson were on-hand to secure another vital 3 points. Elsewhere, Ebbsfleet secured a win, meaning the title will be decided on the last day of the season. 1 & 2 will go up against each other with the title on the line.
mully99
INCREDIBLE! Our away form was poor this year - I was really concerned ahead of this tie. Fortunately, captain fantastic Lowinsky was on-target to score the winner in the title decider.
mully99
Our form towards the end of the season was nothing short of incredible. We set a new Skrill South record for games won in a row (six), and in 6 games we conceded just ONE goal! Top stuff!
One of the driving factors behind our success was our ability to score. We netted an incredible 105 times over the course of the season, and ended the campaign with a goal difference of +50!
In other news, our fine form meant that I picked up yet another Manager of the Month award.

With the season over, and contract talks yet to begin, questions are being asked whether I will be the man to lead Eastleigh next season. Believe me, I'm here for the long-run. I want a deal. The board however, are yet to open talks. Has my financial management harmed my future at the club. This gave me some hope:
