A player stats and attributes can increase by playing in the first team ( a youngster)?Or they only increase throught training?

Playing in the first team is very important. Sorry I can't find a specific guide right this second. But yes it's a mixture of training, match time and tutoring. All are very important.

A player's mental stats, the clubs facilities and the element of luck also come into play. Determination for example can be key in a player improving, the better training facilities the more improvement you could potentially see in players. You'll also need to get lucky with injuries and all the rest of it.

Determination doesn't play a part in player development

Well, it used to back in the old Champ Man days. In my mind I still play with the 'Shooting' stat, none of this finishing and composure lark.

I'm sure determination does. A coach can have amazing, for example, attacking and tactical coaching traits - but his determination and motivation need to be up there as well to have the desired effect.

Two hidden attributes determine how quickly a player develops. Ambition and professionalism. Determination isn't factored in.

But yeah, if you're talking about coaches, determination is important in their star rating for training.
