I wanted to start a career that will run till FM15 arrives on the scene (hopefully).
So for the start of this career I have made it very European orientated. I will branch out as and when I want/need too but for now just keeping it simple enough.
So Englishman Tom J has arrived on the management scene. With nothing more than a packed bag and a few pennies for tins of beans to keep him alive he awaits his first job and wonders where it might be.

Attending the interview with an abundance of nerves, not knowing what to expect. Then leaving having met the board thinking 'that went okay.'
Sure enough a couple of days later came the call.
A two year deal on a much better wage than I would have dreamt of getting with my new home, Torhout.
Upon arrival it was clear to see that I had my work cut out.
There was some promise in the squad but it seemed looking at their results that they were inept at just winning in the league.
It was clear my work was going to be cut out and my skills tested. The three years spent at Stamford Town were about all I had in the way of coaching experience, dear god let it be enough.

Thanks Dan, I certainly hope so!
A couple of players have joined my Belgian revolution! Just cover players really but hey they may turn out to be vital in the long run!!!
Since joining I believe I have more than steadied the ship. One loss in 12 games is nothing short of a miracle for a team of no hopers before I took them on. Long may it continue.
Certainly looks a little better than it did when I first came to Belgium. As said, long may it continue!

So despite an awful end to the season we somehow or another are a part of the play offs!
We will play Ath to decide our fate but in current form I hold out little hope.
Some good news though!

Thanks a lot fellas! More to come later!

In truth the stats show you how bad it was, we barely got out of our own half and add to it two of my players getting sent off, well there are no words for it.
And a 1-1 draw with Ath in the second leg, proved our undoing. Lots of shake up needed in the close season and fingers crossed a better season next time around.
Here are the end of season stats for my squad. As I say expect big changes in and out folks!

Cheers my friend here is hoping!

In fairness from what I can make out, I have inherited one of the poorer sides but hey that is all part of the challenge. They showed glimpses of quality mind you.

So as you can see I have created a home from home. Two English members of staff join my ranks.
Ogan becomes my assistant manager, my plan to take him on a journey like no other, hopefully around the world with me as my assistant.
And Pullan will manage my under 19 squad for next season.

As was promised, a big shake up for the start of the new season. I have my fingers crossed that it will pay off in the long run.
Here is how the squad shapes up. None to shabby to be honest, hopefully they can go out and do us proud in the league.
Below are a couple of players that I am probably the most excited about of the lot.

I hope not but we shall see what happens for sure. I have tied most of the remaining squad down till 2016 so that means they will be together for the next couple of seasons.
Thanks pal!

So here are the season expectations. Going with a mid-table finish for now, hopefully it can be more.
Also announced a link with Zulte Waregem.
Pre season was also not to bad. Big losses against Top League sides so nothing to worry about.

It hasn't been the best of starts to the league season however, though in the cup we looked much better eventually losing out to division two side Tubize.
Losing on penalties when you have been arguably the better side is always a little bit galling.
t-mase
On the positive side we are well away from the relegation spots. The bottom two look incapable of keeping up with the rest, just need to stay clear of that relegation play off spot.
t-mase
Still indifferent form as we head into the winter break. Hopefully this time the wins at the end of December will provide a bit of an injection to the squad and prove to be a catalyst in their form.
Here is how the squad shapes up after 19 games.
Also a new member of staff joins us, another Englishman. Pete Denham joins as Physio, best I can get on a shoestring budget.

The board only expect a mid-table finish so they are more than happy Dan. However something amazing has happened.
We have gone on a run of results without a loss. Incredible to tell the truth that we have done so but the side had it in them to be able to do that.
League position is looking much healthier too which is only a bonus, hopefully a late surge for the play off places is what will come about for now I will just aim to better last seasons points total.
t-mase
An unbeaten end to the season which is a positive and a great points tally in the league also. The team came good when it mattered most.
However you will be forgiven for not seeing a PL symbol next to my team in the league and that is because of this.
This is the Third Section of the league and despite me getting more points than Oosterzonen, beating them twice and having a better goal difference they get a play off place due to winning one more game in the 12. Gutted to say the least.
I have signed a new contract however. I believe I can take the team close next season if not all the way, it will be much the same side with a few of my youth teamers thrown into the mix. Only a one year contract extension on purpose however, if we don't make it I will be leaving.
Here are some stats from the season.
t-mase
No big changes this time. I will go with a mix of youth teamers and on the whole the squad I had for last season.
Blancke is a real coup for us I feel and will add some serious fire power to Attacking Midfield where I intend on playing him.
Here is how the squad shapes up for the season ahead.
Some big losses pre season but I made it a tough one on the players.

I was pleased to get one over on Oosterzonen after they piped me to a play off spot last time out, looks like early form suggest a relegation scrap for them also.
