Thanks Jamie, it was a much higher finish than I could of predicted at the start of the season! I doubt I will use the transfer budget, the main priority is keeping the money for facilities at this moment in time!

Transfers Out:
Well, lets start counting that money! It was a superb pre season for us, with the already confirmed deal Marosi moving to Birmingham, we've also recieved small fees for Dean Stott, who went to Tamworth for thirty two thousand pounds and then Joe Clark to York for one hundred thousand pounds, leaving the club in great shape!
Transfers In:
Think this could be my quietest summer to date, only three new players have joined us this summer, two free transfers and one loanee. Firstly we signed sixteen year old Shaun Newsome who could grow into a fantastic player at the club and isn't far from first team football already. As you already know my new keeper is James Talbot, a great addition to the club and he will instantly be competing for a starting spot. Finally loanee Swedish nineteen year old Khalid Abdo signs for the season.
Finances:
Well, if these finances aren't ridiculously good for a club of our level then I don't know what is! We have over three quarters of a million pounds now in our bank balance and its only going to grow hopefully as I've managed to keep my whole transfer budget this summer as well as keep a massive gap in the wages.
Friendlies:
Summer on the pitch wasn't quite as good, results don't really worry me in pre season, I know we can cut it at this level, we have shown that once and now need to prove it again! We've only made a few changes to the squad so its not like we have a massive overhaul to contend with! The tactics are exactly the same this year as well

Here is the team we take into the 2016/2017 season, once again I'm happy with the team we have and the depth may be a little thin at this stage but I'm hoping to get one or two more deals that are in the pipeline done before the window shuts in a months time. Once again, any players you wish to see attributes of just ask.

Celtic came back again a year later than their first enquiry, Paul Kellett again the man of their interest. However despite being a year old, a year better, they still value him exactly the same, I tried to negotiate with them, they would be willing to pay up to £1.3 million pounds, swiftly rejected!

With the team I got this season I fully expect us to be in the same sort of area, if not even better this season Shedender!

As I said when I showed off the squad, it was a little thin for my liking so I have gone the extra mile to ensure we have plenty of cover for the later part of the season, well for all the season really but last season the final month cost us a stronger league position. We have brought in nineteen year old centre back Kieran Nolan who was without a club, free transfer. I then switched back to loan deals, bringing in Harry Charsley for the season from Everton and then Callum Camps from Rochdale also for the season. Both are already more than ready for first team football.
With that done, how well have we started the league season! We've lost just one of our opening seven league games and despite picking up three draws, I'm more than happy with the way we've started the season. Pleased we kept three clean sheets, obviously something is working this season, the win against Aldershot pleased me. Two nil down throughout the majority of it. But two late goals from Wolfenden saw us win after Abdo netted.
Well, this is exactly the area I expect the team to be this season, I definitely think we will be around the playoffs come the end of the season! I know I told the board I meerly expect to avoid relegation, but I have higher ambitions than that! Only three points off the league leaders and only unbeaten side after seven games Deg & Red. Eastleigh at the other end were deducted ten points due to going into administration.

.What a month! We have been brilliant this season already and September was another shining month, we faced seven games, winning five of them and losing one whilst drawing and losing on penalties. We picked up fifteen points from a possible eighteen throughout the month in the league, losing to just Stockport whilst we won't retain the Manchester Premier Cup for a fourth year running as Mossley knocked us out 5-3 on penalties.
And that superb month has put us right up there! Accrington lead the way but only by goal difference as we sit hot on their heels! We both sit three points clear and a game in hand on the rest of the pack, However that game in hand is my very next game and is between the two of us!

Well, another solid month for the club, four wins and a draw in a short October certainly keeps us in charge of our own fate this season. We stuffed Accrington to go to the top of the table, eased by Northampton and then League Two side Morecambe in the FA Cup to reach the Second Round. In the FA Cup Second Round we faced Skrill North side Buxton!
We are now at the top and leading the way from the rest of the pack! We are only three points clear of Accrington though and four points clear of Rochdale, we then have a game in hand on the rest of the pack and will look to make a further break away. One slight point for concern could be our poor goal scoring form to date.

I guess a bad month was coming, yet we still managed three wins and a draw from our seven games. We have crashed out the FA Trophy in the First Round, Barnet knocking us out with a goal eight minutes from time. We however are set to make our first ever appearance in the FA Cup Third Round, where we will face Middlesbrough.
Thankfully despite the blip month our form hasn't been affected to bad in our league position. We still sit second just behind Accrington, leaving it all to play for thats for sure, reaching the halfway stage next month too

Shame we couldn't defend our Manchester Premier Cup or FA Trophy but in the league we seem so good this season and a nice little FA Cup run is fantastic for the club!

A good month for us was the festive period. December saw us play five, win three, draw one and lose one. It was a poor start but we eventually pulled it out and went on a good run. Shame we couldn't beat Eastleigh, we were the better side as well!
Fantastic for us we are still in the league hunt, a couple games in hand and if we win them both we can go back top of the table! Under half the season left to play now!
