We're as excited as anyone for this summers World Cup in Brazil. To get you all involved we're produced a fantastic FM2014 add on allowing you to partake in the real Brazil World Cup with the real teams, real groups and real fixtures
That's right, you can take any of the nations taking part in this years World Cup and play through the tournament and try and bring your favourite nation to glory.
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\games
Mac: Put the save game file in the following location
users\USERNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\games
Then start up FM, go to "Load Game" and select "World Cup 2014 sortitoutsi.net.fm" and begin your career. You should have about a week before the squads are supposed to be finalised.

Known Issues
Some of the dates for the fixtures are wrong, they appear in the wrong order, there does not seem to be any way to fix this, however it should not effect the later stages of the tournament or qualifying from the group stages.

CÉDRIC DJEUGOUE is missing (have to be created).
Replaced by Benoit Angbwa in the team.
Cote d'Ivoire :
Sylvain Gbohouo is missing (have to be created)
Replaced by Vincent Angban.
Japan :
Maybe you missed to delete fake.inc before create the game.
Nigeria :
The "Kunle Odunlami" already present in the team is fake.
Ebenezer Odunlami is missing (have to be created).

this download is 85mb or so - with 170,000+ players and the game speed on my laptop is just half a star although i have a hi-spec machine core i7-4500U 1.8GHz and 8GB RAM.
is it possible to streamline the world cup game to run faster or is that just the way it is?
