Been reading a lot of the other Stories on here and decided to do one of my own. Looking at this season I have enjoyed the way Everton play and have always wanted to manage a Club and a Country. I decided to go for Belgium for all of the obvious reasons, mostly Hazard and Lukaku. Not been given a big transfer budget but with the squad already there I should be able to reach the Top 7 with a bit a of luck.

Chairman wants me to sign young players and develop our young talent. Looking at the current crop of youth players I think the latter will be an easy task.

Belgium pretty will run itself until the World Cup. I will have a look at the national pool, but I think the squad will stay the same

£10 million (pushed up to £13.5 million) for transfers and and extra 80k Wages. Here I am hoping Barkley, Lukaku and Baines can really do the business this season.

These are my few signings just for a bit more depth and I've managed to sign Will Hughes and Danny Batth, who from my Wolves Career I know can do a good Champions League job. They will arrive next season. Had loads of young players out on loan and that about wraps up my transfer business and I will try to update this monthly and after Transfer windows.

I'm happy with how well preseason went. Scored a ton of goals and they managed two learn my new tactics to a good level. Kick off the Premier League at home to Norwich and I can't wait!

Fantastic start to the league I have never had a good August and on all of my previous Careers my teams are slow starters, so this was a big surprise. Was looking for 2 out of 3. Great start against Norwich, but unfortunately Ross Barkley go injured after about 35 minutes and will be out for 6 weeks. The game against WBA definitely showed a lot of character I had a go at them at half time and they really responded and a Padoin hat-trick of tap ins was a highlight. Did not deserve anything against Man City, but Lukaku has been on fire and took his chances. Great start and need to keep them performing.

Belgium

Continuing my winning form at Everton with Belgium. I decided to reward Lukaku with a start for Belgium and he repaid the faith. Was a bit too close for comfort against Wales though, but we dominated against Macedonia as I would've expected. Couldn't have wish for a better start to this Career.

September 2013

Everton

Another great result against Arsenal with the team Belgian players really performing and producing results. Counter-attacking the opposition is really working for us at the moment. Chelsea completely dominated and we struggled to get the ball. Hull put their chances away and our rotated squad did not produce any sort of performance. I'm disappointed to be out of the cup but not that bothered by it. Back to winning ways again against Sunderland; however they are near the bottom and I expected to win, also Barkley is back!

What a finish from the LB. This was my reward for giving him a new contract in September.

Another amazing month from the boys in Blue. Leighton Baines stole the show against West Ham and we continued our run of fun with two close wins over Stoke and Swansea. This leaves us in 1st place at the end of October.....never thought I’d be saying that so early in this Career. I’m waiting for the run of poor performances which I know will come at some point.

Belgium

We went into the Croatia game knowing a win would put us firmly in top position in the qualifying and they did just that in a very close game, which we narrowly won. Had a small complaint from Benteke when I announced the squad, his club form has been very poor so I called up Matias Suarez instead and he scored two goals against Scotland in a surprisingly tough game with few chances. The two victories moved us up to 7th in the World Rankings just in time for the World Cup Group stage draw.

November 2013

Everton

An abysmal month, albeit against teams who are in the top 3 of the table. The result against Liverpool was poor and they just didn’t play. Lukaku having one good game out of the 4 can’t a coincidence for the results. Need to buck this trend going into the next month or we will quickly slide down the table.

Belgium

Very good draw for us there I knew that first seeding was vital for us. Gives us a great chance of getting out of the group and into the latter stages of the World Cup. Switzerland are perhaps the biggest threat and we outplayed them in the recent friendly.

Well it was more a case of he was in form and Benteke wasn't trying to show them who picks the team

. Suarez is only 2 star rated for National team

Fantastic form and he has been rewarded only had one below average game this season, I was still surprised when I saw this though.

Back to winning ways i’m pleased to say this month. a couple of tight games that we came out on top of. Fair play to Cardiff, who were unlucky not to win the game in the end. I dropped Lukaku for the Cardiff match and he came back with some better performances and a few assists.

Still in the Top 3 and looking set for a Europa League position come the end of the season.

Another very good month for the Toffees, highlights for me personally being destroying Birmingham and WBA. They produced another great team performance at Home against Chelsea and were unlucky to not win the game.

A few transfers took place in January. Darren Gibson and Antolin Alcaraz both leaving since they were just sat in the squad not even managing the bench. I reinvested that cash on a future star Agustin Allione and Hearts Jason Holt, who has the potential to do a decent job in the Premier League and for 31k, who can argue.

Belgium

Nothing much to report for Belgium this month. The road to Euro 2016 begins and I can see Russia as being the only threat in that group, but from my experience on FM they never do very well.

February was a good month in the league recording a 6-0 win against Stoke with Lukaku peaking in those last couple of games. I’m very disappointed with the Blackburn result as I thought the Semi-finals were a realistic aim in the FA Cup this season. We were sloppy defensively and Rudy Gestede punished us.

Deulofeu and Lukaku had good months and they have come 1st and 2nd respectively in the Young Player of the Month, shame they are only on loan. I will do my absolute best to sign them at the end of the season.

Slipped down to 4th in the league, but we’ve still massively overachieved this season and hopefully can hold on to that Champions League spot.

A fantastic month for us this time a spirited victory against a tough Swansea side and then the result against Liverpool capped off the season before it has even finished. I think they had a bit of a hangover against Villa and it showed in the poor performance. We were back in form against Man Utd and hit the bar with the last attack. Just before the Fulham match the Belgian press were critical of Mirallas’ recent performances and he responded brilliantly and won the game for us.

Barkley has shown some of his potential in these games and won the Young player of the month award.

Belgium

Mexico proved a very tough opposition for us and should’ve won the game. We will have to cope better with the heat to achieve anything at this World Cup.

April has been yet another great month big victory against Spurs and performing well against sides lower down in the league. No complacency here then! Lukaku, Barkley and Baines really on form again. Another thing I noticed, but have no confirmation. By my Maths we have qualified for the Champions League!!! I had a backroom advice saying I needed 4 points to guarantee a Champions League place....Sort it out SI!

Great end to the season, 5-1 against a Southampton side with a lot of potential. In the last game I decided to give a few of the youngsters a start and they played well with Stephen Naismith getting the winner. The board have decided to invest in the already Superb Youth Facilities and should help with my aim to use young players and develop them from within. The future is bright at Everton and I won't let them become a selling club.

Belgium

The world cup is nearly here and it's time for those last few friendlies to prepare for the Finals. We started with a tough game against Ivory Coast and I was disappointed in the way we gave the ball away and how many chances they created against us. Hazard looked great and was a constant threat and I think Mignolet may have come into reckoning with his penalty save in the 2nd half.

Season Review 2013/14

What a fantastic season for Everton I wouldn't change a single thing that happened if I could. Champions League qualification has come 3 or 4 years early. The players have impressed me and it is a big shame we are losing Lukaku and Deulofeu at the end of the season; however I have been preparing for that all season and have a few targets in mind.

Shows we deserved everything we got this Season and it wasn't until I really looked at this that I really saw how much Lukaku and Baines did for the team this season and I will do well to replace Lukaku next season. Sylvain Distin was the surprise for me this season he was very consistent especially since he is in his late 30's

What an absolute joke the Manager of the Year award was this season. I took Everton from 8th to 2nd and I didn't win it. Typical!

Great showing from the boys this year and they deserved their places in the Team of the Year.

FA Cup

A pretty poor showing from us in both of the cups this season, losing to Hull in the Carling Cup and Blackburn in the FA Cup. Must do better in a cup competition next season since they are usually my forte. Carling Cup was won by Chelsea, beating Spurs in the final. Man Utd completed the 2nd part of a potential treble with a 1-0 win against Chelsea

Europa League

I hadn't been paying much attention to the Europa League this season until I saw that incredible Quarter Final result for Swansea and supported them the whole way to the all English final. I was delighted when they won and it capped off an amazing Journey. I'm going to take a serious look at Wilfried Bony could be my replacement for Lukaku.

Champions League

Champions League didn't give off many shocks other than Barcelona finishing 3rd in their group. Strong English showing in both European competitions this year. I watched the final and it was a close match but Real did just enough to win it. I have a lot to look forward to next season and I hope we aren't in a tough group.

Thanks, I know Will Hughes is a cracking player on this and Allione was a name that popped up a lot in my Lincoln/Real Betis Career, which has been going for about 15 seasons.

Looking forward to playing the World Cup now. I don't get much time to play weekdays so updates may slow down until Friday.
