Bhutani National League - 1st Game of 10





A decent point against Ugyen Academy, all the action was in the 2nd half as we scored first in the 51st minute, they equalized in the 53rd, took the lead in the 60th and we got an equalizer in the 64th minute.

Another close game but we got the needed 3 points, not a lot else to say here.

A brace from Sonam Gyeltshen and a goal from Diwash Subba seals another 3 points for us as we hit the top of the table.

A straight-forward, simple 1-0 win.

A solid if not unspectacular win over bottom place Phuentsholing sees us 6 points clear at the half-way stage.

Should I carry on with this style of updating or just do it every 2 or 3 games?

Another hard fought 3 points against Phuentsholing and we're now 8 points clear with 4 games to go.

We can't seen to win by more than one goal which makes things quite tense, although we've got the league tied up needing at most 1 point from our next 3 games to win the title!

And with 2 games left we have won the league and that means we qualify for the Asian President's Cup!

We could have and should have won the game though, again we struggled to hold our lead and this time we lost it right at the end as I feared would happen the last few games.

Well that was a drub drub drub drub DRUBBING, I thought the lads would get complacent, guess I was wrong! Diwash Subbha had a great game with his hat-trick, especially the last goal which was from 30-35 metres away!

And that is the league season over and done with, a cracking 3-0 win, if only we could have played as well as that for the whole of the league, we still have the Bhutani Cup to play before the end of the season.

Another great win! We face RIHS (Royal Institute of Health Sciences) in the Semi Final in March.

I'm going to be honest, I don't have a clue how we'll fare, the other teams in our group have greyed out players, we could be great, we could be dire.

Yet another strong win! and with that we are in the Bhutani Cup Final against Nangpa on the 5th of April.

We won a domestic treble! (Thimphu League, National League & Cup) in my first season! and we got a tidy £10K from it as well which will do wonders for the finances....speaking of which:

A fully Bhutanese squad as we don't have a high enough reputation to attract any foreigners (only 47 Bhutanese players are willing to join us and only 13 of those are over 16!)

We outplayed K.R.L but didn't do enough to seal the 3 points, the group is still a stalemate with everyone on 1 point for now.

A lone goal from Chencho Nio gives us a needed 3 points to give us a good chance of qualifying for the Semi Final!

An awful loss, we were easily the better team yet we were 3-0 down until the 80th minute! This left us with a very close group table...





And I made a mistake in the last post, we don't qualify for the Semi Finals, we qualify for the Final Group Stage which takes place in September.

2014/15 Pre-Season



A decent pre-season where we went a bit downhill towards the end but hopefully it won't have an affect on morale.

A great start to the season with a 3-0 win and we injured 3 of their players (woops!)

We were 2-1 up until the 90th minute where it looked like we'd throw it away again as Merw made it 2-2, but then in the 92nd minute Basnet gave us the 3 points!



We outplayed the Laos Police Force as we battle to a 2-0 win and all but sealing our place in the Semi Final.



A last game defeat to Alga, we had the most shots but couldn't capitalise, would we have made it through?




Yes! But only just, 1 goal on goal difference saw us go through to the Semi Finals!

And Tshering's 88th minute penalty has done it for us! Little Yeedzin from Bhutan have made it to the Final of the President's Cup!

A nice little win and 3 points against Druk Utd where we showed some superiority even though Karun Gurung got himself sent off right at the end...





A strong looking 3-1 win against Druk Stars puts us 4 points clear at the top.

We've done it!!! Passang Tshering has given Yeedzin, and Bhutan's first continental recognition!

We utterly demolished BMW and if anything we went easy on them, we were 5-1 up at half-time and we didn't score at all in the 2nd half. We face Druk Pol in the 3rd Round.
