FM14 Coach Contract Bug

I'm trying to get Albert Stuivenberg for Manchester United, but it won't let me offer him a contract. When I click on his contract tab, it just says that he's already accepted a contract offer, but he hasn't gone anywhere in the last 2 in-game months. Any ideas?
