Cheers mate!
Tessa
An almost undefeated month only ruined in the last game of the month away at Histon in the FA Trophy. I'm happy that we a now fluid with the formations being trained as well as conceding only 1 or 2 goals every game. Liam Eddy again scoring 4 goals in a game. He is the best player I have had at the club by far. I think he has scored 11 league goals in 19 games.
Still first and by a comfortable margin as well. We are looking the goods and hopefully it can continue.
Broad is a big loss as now I am reliant on three central midfielders and with lots of games in a short amount of time, I need to rotate and it's hard. Kellaway suffers his third injury since being at the club. He has only played two games since he joined. It is frustrating because Marcus Adams is suspended every second week so I'm playing Jake Ash as my LB.
Last month of 2014 next update.

Thanks mate! Still a while to go mate but i'm confident!

Thanks mate. 5 points is a nice cushion so I can afford to lose a game.
Tessa
Not a great month results wise. I went the whole month without recording a win while losing three in a row and getting knocked out of the FA Cup on penalties. The Wealdstone game was a bad loss. They were up 3-1 and then we equalized through Pugh and Parker until they scored a 92nd minute winner. They were 21st on the table.
Despite this we are still first on the table by two points. If we won all those easy games, we'd be up by at least 6 points.
Green the only injury. It is hard because he is my only right wing back. Ash is great but Green is a great player and we missed him during the last couple games.
2015 here we come

Luckily I am. November was a good month which helped consolidate top spot so I could afford to lose a couple of games. But not 3 in a row. Glad the teams below me slipped up as well.
I know very disappointing considering we had basically a full strength team. Hope we start next year with a bang.
Tessa
Resigned him as he only had 6 months to go on his current contract that was $30 a week. Nice upgrade but well deserved, his been my top goalscorer over two years.
Unbeaten month which is nice after the horrible month we had in December. The Ebbsfleet game was winnable but we lost Arran Pugh, Jed Harper-Penman, Dan Green and Ryan Cardwell to injury and they equalized in the 90th minute. The Concord game was good because we came back from two down to claim a point.
Nice 4 point cushion between us and Sutton who beat us 3-0 at the beginning of the season. We have the 3rd best attack and 4th best defense in the league while Liam Eddy is tied 2nd in the top goalscorers list in the league.
A couple of injuries from the Ebbsfleet game. Green wasn't as serious and played the Concord game while Harper-Penman misses at least 2 games.
Player of the Month
Bob Eacock has had a great month and has been a consistent performer all season. Look at the improvement from the beginning of the season. He will be a star in the future.
Tough February ahead

Thanks. Eacock has been great along with Jack Blair who I also picked up on a free. He can play CM and CAM and rotates with Blair during the game which can be devastating.
I knew we'd turn it around. I think it was because of the short turnaround between games that killed us. Luckily I had a full strength team for most of the month which allowed rotation in the squad.
Tessa
Eacock had developed nicely since the beginning of the season due to the fact he has played in most of my games this year.
This was a fiery game with seven yellows for me and both teams having a man sent off (Jake Ash). Ash is suspended for three games.
A good month all roound. The St Albans game doesn't count as I rested my whole first team and played my 18's squad with a new formation just to give them a rest. However I'm disappointed with the Gloucester game in which we clawed our way back from 2-0 down to salvage a point. I feel we could have won that game.
This gives us a 5 point buffer at the top of the table however from 2nd-9th it is really tight with 6 points separating them.
Hart missed the 3-1 win against Bath but he wasn't really needed for that game. Pugh and Cooke are big losses especially as we have some big fixtures coming up that we need our top players for. This gives chances for guys like Phil Jefferies and new signing Ryan Curran to prove their point and fight for their place in the team.
Player of the Month
Liam Eddy gets my Player of the Month after scoring three goals in three games he played this month. He is my leading goalscorer and is top of the assists list.

The penultimate month of the season.
Eacock's stats this season:
12 goals in the league as well as 10 assists and 6 player of the match awards. Not bad for a free transfer,
Youth intake is pretty crap this year. I only signed 4-5 players which is disappointing.
These 4 are my best prospects. Disappointing as last year we had Phil Jefferies who mad an immediate impact on the first team while these guys will need a bit of time.
All hail the best English player in FM14, Tom Cleverley.
Not a great start to the month with a 5-2 loss to lowly Chelmsford. Tough win against Bromley followed by an impressive win against Staines where Marcus Adams scored direct from a corner. We were made to fight against Bishop's until Ryan Curan scored his first goal for the club in the 93rd minute to win the game. Super sub!
We now have a nice 7 point buffer ahead of Sutton leading into the final month of competition. The title is mine to lose now.
The players missing for the Chelmsford game:
And for Bromley:
Tough with a lot of first team regulars out so we relied on youth to get us through and they did a fantastic job.
Annoyed it got upheld after he was sent off for a 'professional foul' which wasn't even dangerous.
Player of the month
You're probably getting sick of me mentioning him but Bob Eacock has just been fantastic. He is a clever player who sets up at least 5 chances a game for Eddy or Cardwell, as well as scoring a few himself. Simply amazing.

I bombed it.
I lost every game in April and missed out on the title by 4 points as you will see below.
Margate in the playoffs. Bombed it.
I should have won this award. Everyone tipped us to finish 19th so for us to make the playoffs was really something.
Halfway through they pull the plug after claiming 'lack of funds'. Bullshit.
Well done to Ryan on making the team which is a huge achievement.
I decided to decline contract talks as I wanted to move on to another club. Losing our final 7 games of the season as well as not being to upgrade our facilities due to lack of money influenced my decision.
Woeful month. For whatever reason we struggled against teams we should have beaten and struggled to score in three games. We could have clinched the title but instead finish fourth.
Final table. The top 4 was tight.
First leg at home to Margate we lost 2-1. Unbelievable. We took an early lead through Bob Eacock and then bombed it to lose 2-1.
Same thing away. Lead early and then bomb it. We were knocked out 3-2 on aggregate. Hard to believe we were first for most of the season.
I felt I couldn't advance with Truro and resigned. The last 7 games influenced my decision as well as their financial situation.
Joined Boreham Wood. They are also in Skrill South but have much more money and a bigger wage budget than Truro so it gives me options to improve the squad.
Great news.
Alright facilities but the youth facilities need improvement.
Pre-Season next update

Hope you'll do better there
Tessa
Thanks mate. Devastated I didn't get promoted but now begins a new chapter in my career. Hopefully I can get Boreham promoted. It helps as they are doing okay financially so I have money to spend.

Nah I've tried but he isn't interested in joining which is disappointing but I have a couple of players at Boreham who I think will be just as good.
Tessa
Re-signed my old scout from Truro, Anthony Finn, who was the one who discovered Bob Eacock. Hope he can find me another gem.
My transfers for the pre season. Alot of players let go either because of wage reduction or simply not good enough/not in my future plans.Ricky Shakes was a hard one to let go but he was 31 on $650 a week with 2 players ahead of him on lower wages. Jordan Patrick is a key signing as he fills Shakes spot down the right wing and he is only 24.
Some of the players I signed or who will feature during the season.Thompson had his loan extended for another year but this year I'm not paying his wages. Great success
After three predictable losses (Watford and West Ham were mandatory as they are parent clubs, Aston Villa for some nice money for the piggy bank), we beat Skrill North team Brackley 3-1. It was a good overall performance and they only scored in the 90th minute from a penalty. We start the season at Weymouth while in our third game, I get a visit from my old team, Truro.
Let's get stuck in.
Tessa
This is a bit of a coup. He has played 4 times for Cyprus Under 21's. Hopefully his experience will rub off on others.
After a shaky start to the season with two 1-1 draws against Weymouth and Bath (two teams I struggled against at Truro as well) I managed to get 1 up on my former team Truro with goals to Sammy Doolan and Kyle Asante, who later had to be taken off after getting injured. Before the game, I looked at the line-ups and got the shock of my life when I didn't see Liam Eddy. Turns out he got loaned to a team in the 11th tier of English Football. Also Eacock started from the bench. No wonder they only have a point from four. A disapointing way to finished the month with a 3-0 hammering away to Woking.
After only the one win and 3-0 loss to Woking, we end the first month of the season in 16th place which isn't ideal. Still, I had a shaky start with Truro and we made the play-offs. The lads still haven't got used to the formations so they'll soon enough.
A couple of big losses with Robson, my key midfielder gone for nearly two months while Asante is out for three, which leaves me with only two first team strikers (Dan Fitchett and Adie Dickenson).
We begin with Maidstone in the next update.
