The Search For Glory

I have decided to finally write up and show my main FM 2015 career after years of reading and enjoying them!

I am going to be starting this career with the great Leyton Orient, I am supporter of them and have actually never managed to solidify them in the Premier League in FM. I have other goals which I will be looking to achieve as well with my favorite teams, I really hope that you all enjoy reading this career, and if you have any tips just let me know!

In my FM 2015 career I have some goals to reach that I have never managed on one save file/career, these are those goals which I will look to achieve:
Promote Leyton Orient to the Premier League
Play Champions League football with Leyton Orient
Win the Copa Libertadores & Club World Cup with San Lorenzo
Manage Inter Milan
Win the MLS Cup with the New York Red Bulls
Win the Concacaf Champions League with New York Red Bulls
Surpass Sir Alex Ferguson in the Hall of Fame

Valentin Gjokaj, the youngster who I hope can at least develop to be a starter in the Championship.

Results were mixed, started off strong then played horrible, hopefully things change as the season starts

Before I begin the next post I would like to say that my game crashed after I played the Capital One Cup (I had beat Exeter 6-2), fortunately autosave took place a couple of days before the Chesterfield game, so I did not lose much, still very frustrating.

August 2014

As I said, I had to replay the Chesterfield Game and here is the result, not too bad

Injuries (Absolutely effing ridiculous):


This is frustrating, how am I supposed to get results when we have a game every 2-4 days and have about 8 players injured at all times, we started really well but lost 3 league games in a row against average teams. Things better start picking up, at least we somehow beat a BPL team....sigh....

Brilliant win over Southampton Lucky Pelle missed a penalty Who have you got in 3rd round?

When that penalty was given I had a huge gamer rage moment, and then they missed
Next round I have Burnley at home, depending on how we fare against Scunthorpe (last in the table) I might play the first team. I was also thinking of trying a new tactic against them, I guess we shall see!

September 2014

September was an absolutely fantastic month, we recovered from the injury crisis and now we are on a roll! Let us start with the cup games.

Player of the Month -Shane Lowry-



Overall it was a fantastic month, the wimbledon result got the ball rolling, we played fantastic in the league thanks to getting key players back from injury. The Colchester game should have been a win but they scored a halfway line goal, losing to Burnley was not a big deal because I played an alternative team with a new counter attacking tactic. We have scored so many goals, it makes me really happy.

On another note, I decided that Shane Lowry was the player of the month, he is rock solid and might get a call up to the Australian national team, MASSIVE!

Shame about Burnley, just one step too far! But great form elsewhere!

What looked like a bad start ended up being a bit better in the second update, so GL with that

I was not too disappointed, what worried me the most is that they should have won 5-0



Yes, thankfully it got better!

October 2014

October was a month which saw us get some absolutely fantastic results as well as some terrible ones, considering we remain in the top 6 I am fairly pleased overall. The squad does need a couple of players when January comes around, I will look to off load some strikers and sign some fullbacks that can actually defend. On to the results!

Another decent month mate and still in the JPT

Good month for you there. Doing well!

Another good month and maybe asking for the title is a realistic thing?

Maybe but I doubt it, we have some defensive flaws and a lot of games you could consider lucky.

What worries me the most is that most of our wins are honestly 50/50 games.

November 2014

November was probably our best month. We were on top form and it showed, constantly winning games by big margins and never looking back, except for the game against Bradford . Overall I am pleased with the team except I believe there needs to be a better LB. On to the results!

Long update incoming! I decided to start updating once every two months instead of once a month simply because it was going a bit too slow, my apologies

Dec/Jan were two really good months, while we did not fare well in the cups we are still going strong in the league. As far as transfers are concerned I sold a key player and brought in two players who I think can play in the Championship (looking towards the future). I must mention that I have about 3 key players that were promised promotion at the beginning of the season, so there is some pressure!

Overall it was a good time, I am enjoying this season quite a lot. I usually get frustrated with negative results but since the team is playing very nicely and meeting expectations I am happy. I just hope this form can keep up, at this point my goal is the playoffs if we are in the top 2 after 35 games I will look to gain automatic promotion!

League forms continued to be briliant, shame about the FA Cup though!

February/March 2015

ALMOST THERE!! These past two months have been a bit crazy, some frustrating loses and many last minute goals. Fortunately we also had some fantastic wins and all these results bring us one step closer to the Championship.

This update is rather short because there are no more cup competitions and since we are so close to the end of the seasons I want to get it out of the way!

Tactics, here is how I have played this whole season, I actually tested this tactic out in the beta with Orient and it worked nicely for me so I carried it over to this save.



Also something else of note, we have some internationals! (Also Shane Lowry has already earned 7 Australia caps this season!)

Not far from securing the top spot now mate! Brilliant work!

Finally, this season is over, WE ARE GOING UP!!

Overall I am happy, I achieved what I wanted this first season. Now the time comes for solidifying the team in the Championship, I am looking at only bringing a couple of players but mostly keeping the same squad, I want a mid table finish.
