Just paid for premium membership, now i am downloading 9 times slower?!

Can you guys please explain why i had to pay 14€ to get full premium membership?

With torrents i was downloading the full cut out facepack with 900kb/sec....but as i saw you promised premium dl rates through membership i payed and now i download with......................137kb/sec!?!?!?!?! Are you kidding me?

Apologies speeds have been fluctuating this weekend due to the high traffic.

I am constantly monitoring it and making changes when necessary to improve performance.

I have just added another two servers to handle the load and if you are getting truly terrible speeds you should cancel your download and try again (you will be sent to one of 8 different servers at random, depending on which server has the least traffic (although that calculation isn't always perfect)).

yep same here too paid for premium and taking upto 5hrs to download!!

A few questions.

1) What file are you trying to download?
2) Are you trying to download multiple files at once?
3) What is your internet speed (speed test)
4) When you download what domain are the downloads coming from (in your download list it will say something like "*.sortitoutsi.net" where star could be premium, fileserver8 or fileserverbf)

As you can tell this is fairly infrequent (only two of you have posted) but possible that you have a bad connection and restarting would fix it.

However it could also be any other number of reasons and answering those questions will help.

i have downloaded numerous things on my pc!
so no problem there.. also after it took forever to download the metalist logos pack i am having real problems installing it! wtf pay a tenner a year for fck all!!

Installing shouldn't make any difference. Post in the relevent section and I'm sure someone can help.

Also you didn't answer my questions so I really can't offer any answer concerning the downloads.
