We recorded our fifth straight league win when we welcomed FC Skanderborg. Kortbaek netted in the sixth minute to get us off to the perfect start. Morten Pedersen then found our second nine minutes into the second half.
FC Svendborg bought our winning streak to an abrupt end. Troensegaard was on the scoresheet for us, but we couldn't swing the result in our favour. A disappointing defeat.
Finally, Svebolle visited us, and a game that the over in eighteen minutes, though it didn't seem it at the time. Katsigazis goal proved to be the winner just before the twenty minute mark, ending our season with a victory.
In the end we were runaway winners, claiming the league title by an impressive twelve points! Our defence was slack in the first half of the season, but we tightened it up in the second half as we conceded a lot less, and saw a dramatic increase in our goal difference! A very successful campaign!
I have also singed a new contract to keep me here for another season. We can only dream of a half decent first season in the First Division, but, with a few transfers, I'm confident we could have a good campaign!

During the summer break we tested ourselves against some better teams, and it's fair to say we didn't cope too well with it. Obviously I'm looking to get trophies ticked off as soon as I can, but I feel we're going to take a few seasons until we're ready to take the next step up, so I'm hoping we can stay in this division this season to allow us to build the squad up. We also need a much broader choice of players with good abilities, as we're currently short on players who can offer something to the squad at this level, which shows in our friendlies.

Our First Division campaign started against an established Vendsyssel FF side. After a strong first half performance, we went into the break all square. In the second half we took our chances though, Severinsen and Johansen both found the net to get us off to the perfect start!
AC Horsens were next, a game we knew we'd struggle in. Another strong first half performance again saw us enter the interval at 0-0. The second half saw the hosts take the advantage though, and build on it, eventually beating us 2-0.
Two games played, three points earned. We sit fifth in the table, but that's irrelevant right now as the table hasn't had the time it needs to take shape. If we're still here after ten to fifteen games, then I'll be happy, but right now, the table shows nothing.

Our first game in August saw us face Lyngby. A close encounter, but we came away with nothing to show from our performance. Kortbaek and Thomsen netted either side of the break, but it wasn't enough.
Danish Cup First Round action came up next, where we faced FC Svendborg. A comforatble 3-0 win sent us into the next round. All the goals in the first half. A brace from Jakobsen and the other scored by Sen.
A strong Viborg FF couldn't prevent us from taking three points in our next fixture. Jakobsen scored just twenty nine seconds into the match, before two goals in the last sixteen minutes, scored by Nygaard and Jakobsen respectively, saw us ease to victory.
We cruised past Rishoj at home, but it was only a cracking second half performance that secured the points on this occassion. Sen, Svendsen and a double from Morten Pedersen wrapped up the match for us.
Finally we faced AB away from home. Martin Pedersen out us ahead three minutes before the break from the spot. A fifty first minute striker from Laursen put the game out of ABs reach.
One defeat and three league victories this month has us sitting in second place with six games gone. If we can keep this kind of form up, then we'll easily beat the drop. We've been strong at the back from the start of the season, which is always a good sign, especially when you're playing in a league of better quality!
With plenty of players coming in, which I'll get to in a minute, we had to let a few players go. Kasper Stiller was unneeded in the left back position, so he was released. Sand was also given a free transfer due to being the third choice goalkeeper, and again, not needed. Mads Sverinsen just doesn't have the quality required for this level, not does he have any better potential, that's why he was released. Finally, and this may come as a surprise, Sonny Jakobsen was the final player we released. We've got in two extra strikers who are over twice the player Jakobsen is, so he had to go to reduce the wage bill.
Who says you've got to be rich to have a fun transfer window? No less than eleven players arrived at Jammerbugt FC. Mark Westergaard was the first new arrival, bought in to strengthen our back line. Kenneth Skov was also bought in for the same reason, although he also offers versatility, apart from being a central defender, he can play in the right back position, aswell as defensive and central midfield. Daniel Thorup will be our new first choice right back, a position in which we lacked last season. Andreas Elkjaer comes in at the left back position, offering plenty of potential to improve in the future, he'll have to battle for his place with current left back Martin Pedersen. Christian Kier will come straight in as first choice goalkeeper, and should hopefully help us to earn a few extra victories. Klaus From is an attacking midfielder who will give competition to Morten Pedersen for his spot, aswell as adding extra depth to the squad. Frederik Christensen will provide added depth and strength to our attacking midfield, helping out especially when rotation is needed. Morten Virenseldt also comes in for the same reasons. He has potential to be a good player, though for now, he'll be used when others need a rest. Marthias Laursen is the first of the two strikers we've bought in, and at eighteen years old, he's already better than the other strikers we had in the squad. He's also got great potential. Soren Andreasen was the other striker we bought in. He's second best to Laursen, although he'll provide competition and depth for the striker spot. Jacob Buus Jacobsen was the final player to arrive, and he'll sit in the center of the midfield. His natural fitness will be a real help for us this season!

September saw us take a horrid turn in form, starting against FC Fredericia. Laursen scored twice in three minutes in the first half, but it wasn't to prevent us falling to a 4-2 defeat.
We scraped a point against Hvidore IF after a scrappy match. Reese had us ahead early on, but Laursens goal before the break was to pull us back level. Pedersen netted in the second half, but again, it only bought the scores level.
A strong Vejle side were next on the schedule. No goals for us, and another defeat. 2-0 the final score in this game.
We rotated the squad for the cup as, realistically, it's not a cup we were going to win. Brochmann fired us into the lead, but the hosts had the better of the rest of the match, eventually winning 4-1.
A goalless draw against Skive IK saw our best performance of the month, finally keeping a clean sheet, but we couldn't capitalize on that at the other end.
After what can only be described as a poor month, we've slipped down to sixth place, currently eight points above the relegation zone, and nine points offs the top two, so we're sitting safely in mid table at the moment.

After a disappointing September, we went into October looking to change our fortunes. Unfortunately, we couldn't manage that! FC Vestsjaelland drew with us in a six goal match. Laursen banged in a hat-trick for us, but his efforts were only rewarded with a point.
Vendsyssel FF. From scored his first goal for the club, and Laursen scored his fourth in the last two games, but despite the goals, we fell to a 3-2 defeat.
A goalless draw against Lyngby was seen as a positive for us, as they sit top of the table. A hard earned point.
Second placed AC Horsens sent us back to a defeat though, although we held strong in the first half. Two goals for the visitors in the second half, send us to a 2-0 defeat.
Our third point of the month came against Viborg FF. Kenneth Skov scored five minutes before the break was enough to take a point here.
Two months without a victory now, and it's showing on the table. We've slipped to eighth after such a promising start. We're now just six points above the drop zone, and needing wins desperately now to regain our momentum.

November started with a huge victory over Rishoj. Not just in terms of the scoreline, but in the teams confidence aswell! A winless two months have come to an end! Laursen netted either side of the break, which proved to be the first and final goals for us. Between that Morten Pedersen grabbed himself one, whilst From and Reese also helped themselves to goals.
We did fall to an expected defeat next though, against FC Fredericia. A strong performace saw goals from Jensen (O.G) and Andreasen from the spot, but we couldn't find the third that we needed.
Struggling AB would be our final opponents before we go for a much needed break, and what a way to round off this part of the season. A penalty from Martin Pedersen got us started, before Reese doubled our advantage nine minutes later. Laursen netted a brace, coming either side of the interval, whilst Glyo rounded off the five nil victory!
Six points from a possible nine here certainly helps us out, as we climb back up to sixth place in the table. Hopefully we come back from the break refreshed and ready to go! We're eleven points from second place, so ambitious back to back promotions in looking well out the door now. Survival is looking a real possibility though, as we sit seven points clear of the danger zone with fifteen games to go.
And finally, I'm not sure how long I plan on staying here, but I've signed a new contract to keep me here until the end of the 2017/18 season. I'm hoping I can gain my first coaching badge next season once we've received price money for our finish in the league this season. But for now, my future is here, in Denmark.

Cheers DP91, I've no coaching badges yet so to jump ship at this point seems stupid. I'm hoping they'll pay for my first course after this season finishes! I'm happy to be sitting mid-table, doing better than I had expected!
Thanks SBR, would be a great finish if we were to hold our mid-table spot until the end!

Before I get into our competitive fixtures now they've started again, here's just a quick look at our friendlies we played in the run up to the leagues return. I'm not sure how my assistant set the team up, but looking at the results, he's done a terrible job of it! I'd be expecting four wins from those games, but we only managed one. At least it was only friendlies though!
Now onto the more important part of things, competitive football! We got things back underway with a 2-1 victory over Hvidovre IF. Svendsen and Jacobsen on the scoreboard to give us a much needed win.
A surprising defeat was to follow though. Skive IK beat us 2-1 in a match we really should of won, but we didn't perform as we should of. Our only consolation came through Sen, nine minutes from time.
FC Vestsjaelland added more misery onto us when we played our third game in a week. We were outplayed and in the end beaten 2-0.
We managed to get back to winning ways against Vejle in the final game of the month, another 2-1 scoreline! Kortbaek netted ten minutes in before Laursen made sure of the points six minutes from time.
As for the league table, I'm happy to be sitting in seventh place, although fifth and sixth are realistically catchable if we can manage to put together a good run of form!

Our first game of the month saw us grab another needed win. Sen and From scored in the first half, but the points were only wrapped up in the final minute of the game, when Pedersen devastated the away crowd, finding the winner!
High flying Lyngby were next, and expected to crush us! We were happy to come away with just a one goal defeat.
Then another tough match against leaders AC Horsens. We scored in stoppage time of each half, but nothing of any significance. The goals provided by Laursen and From as we slumped to a 4-2 defeat.
Viborg FF couldn't overcome us in what was a big game , as they sit just ahead of us in the table. Thorup scored the only goal of the game twenty three minutes in from the right back position.
Another victory followed, a brace from Pedersen on home turf saw us breeze past Rishoj, as their woes continue.
Struggling AB were next, and we went into the game confident of a third win on the bounce, but we were to be denied. No way past their keeper, and ended up coming out defeated, a goal to nil.
Here's the league table with five games to play. We continue to sit sixth, and I'm now hoping this is where we'll finish. A poor month has seen fifth gain points over us.The main thing is we're safe from relegation, so now it's just the matter of finishing off the season.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What a terrible ending to the season. FC Fredericia overcame us 2-1, with Laursen getting our goal just before the break.
Next up, we got absolutely thumped! Hvidovre IF walked through our defence at times, establishing a 5 goal lead. Two late consolation goals, undeserved. They come from Andreasen and From.
Two goalless draws were to follow, the first against Skive IK, which we should have won. The next came against FC Vestsjaelland, which was a decent result for us!
The final game of the season saw us face Vejle, and more misery was piled on us. Faeste scored an own goal, which was our last of the season. A 2-1 defeat come the end of ninety minutes. A disappointing end to a strong season.
A seventh place finish in the end, which is respectable considering we were only aiming to avoid relegation. Ten points clear of the bottom two saw us achieve a mid table finish, however we were way off the pace required for what's needed to finish in the top two, which poses the question, is this club really likely to see me to another trophy?
Finally! After two season I've been given the go ahead to get my first coaching badge! A step in my career I feel I've needed, and hopefully it'll go a long way to helping me tick a few more trophies off!

It's been a good few seasons here, but I feel the time is right to now step down from my post and good in search of a new challenge. This squad just wouldn't have enough to challenge for what I needed, and neither did the club have the finances to make it possible anytime soon! So, without hanging about, I'll now be looking to find a club with the potential of bringing in another trophy. As for where that will be, I can't be sure.

Cheers Dan, needed a change as it would take a few seasons to get them challenging for the league!
Thanks Jamie3.

So, with the formal process complete, I was hardly going to turn around and say I didn't want the job.
With everything concluded, I was into my second job! A move to Belgium where I'd take charge of a struggling CS Visé side, playing in the Third Division B.
Visé were off to a good start this season, but a drop in their recent form sealed the fate of the previous manager, leaving the club in ninth place. It's not all bad though, we're predicted to finish third, plus we're only six points off the top, so there isn't much catching up to do if we get off on the right foot!

Certainly is Dan, but a place where I should be able to tick off my next trophy relatively quickly!
Thanks simoncoyne. It'll take a while, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually!

November only say me take charge of two games due to the time I took over the club, but nonetheless, we got off to a good start. Kapellen, currently struggling in the league, were no object for us, as we flew past them 3-1. La Mantia scored in the opening minute, before netting again seven minutes from time. Gueye then banged in a penalty with five minutes to go to ensure we took the points.
Next up saw us welcome league leaders SW Harelbeke. We took the lead in the second half through Cardon, but we were pegged back shortly after, earning a respectable draw.
We sit seventh in the league table, remaining six points off the top. I've only taken charge of two games so far though, so I wasn't expecting dramatic changes. It's great to see how tight it is above me, meaning we should be able to move through the table quickly should we get a run of form going.

In December there was just three games, due to a little break before resuming half way through January. We opened the month by smashing 4 unreplied goals past Ronse. La Mantia netted a brace, along with goals from La Rocca and Dahman!
Sprimont managed to hold us to a 1-1 draw, with our only goal of the game coming from defensive midfielder Piazza.
Finally, an eight goal thriller, in which we beat Union SG 6-2! Lanslots completed a hat-trick three minutes from time, having netted his other two in the first half. Smet also scored in the first half. Mutombo converted from the spot, and Ngoie helped himself to a goal too!
Heading into the new year we sit in third place, but we still haven't closed the gap on front runners SW Harelbeke, who remain six points clear of us. They've also secured a playoff spot! Were only a point behind second though, so if we keep up our current form, there's no reason we shouldn't end up in a playoff spot!
Ryan9
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A perfect start to the new calendar year, winning all three games in January. Diegem were our first opponents. An early goalfrom La Mantia set the tone, before being quickly followed up with our second from Fondaire. Dahman added our third eight minutes from time. Lanslots still found time for another after that though, the final scoreline, 4-1.
Our only away game saw us travel to face Vervuers. La Mantia again on the scoresheet, just after the interval. Dahman also adding a goal in the second half.
Finally, a 3-0 victory to end the month on. Hasselt couldn't find a way past our keeper, but a different story for us in the second half. A double from Dahman along with one from Elton saw another comfortable victory.
A cracking month sees us into second position, and bearing down on the leaders, cutting the gap to just four points! Berchem have secured a playoff spot now aswell, but with us sitting in second, I've full confidence we;'ll snap up a playoff spot.
And now for the bad news. After being out of contract, and our resources not allowing us to offer them the wages required to keep them, we've lost three of our best players! La Rocca, our main center back has left on a free transfer. Piazza, our holding midfielder, and La Mantia, our left winger have also left us on frees!
