What is "exciting football"?

Despite my team score a lot. (~3 goals per match), board still say "The fans are slightly concerned that despite good recent results the soccer played by the club has been less than exciting".

My team play attacking football, create tons of chance, score a lot. And you tell me it's not exciting? LOL

From my expirience, two biggies they find (fans)... First and i guess, most important, if you rotate a lot (which is a problem in game for me, because they made it impossible to keep fans happy if you rotate and if you not, your best players run in to injuries, jadeness, etc...), so fans are concerned as they see football exciting only when your best 11 were playing... Second thing i found is, if you play more disciplined, and some of players who kick balls from 50-60 meters are restricted, your winger who dribble a lot is now a bit tied, etc.. The board informs you about it but, as far as i expirienced, it does not affect will chairman give new contract to you or not, board is trophy hungry and that is all they care for...

Yeah I've noticed that it says the football we've been playing is less than exciting. My team plays fairly good attacking football, plenty of chances and some great goals. I've also got some exciting players in my team. Not sure what more I can do. I'm not that fussed though it doesn't seem to have an impact on anything else, only on the board confidence.
