Hey guys whats your bet on this coming AFC Cup In Australia? It's just Sad Philippines wasn't In it as i am a local and they are my Team favorite but being a football fan with this teams competing Australia, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Uzbekistan, China (outside GCC)in GCC: Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Iran, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine What team are you predicting to win? The Team that wins this tourney is gonna go on and compete to FIFA 2017 the Holy Grail of football so i guess its gonna be exciting. Wish Philippines will be here soon. Australia has good papers playing at home.
Even though I do understand to the fullest why Australia plays in Asia.
It sounds ridiculous to have an Asia Cup in Australia.
I live in Asia too.

Probably has a lot to do with the cost for travelling fans to get to and from Perth I'd assume.

Nah was cause we didn't have a decent enough stadium during the bidding process and the political will to host games. Our own fault more then anything.

Yeah the atmosphere was pretty shit, tonnes of families and kids. Although to be fair, if Scotland were playing fucking Oman it would have been shit too.

I guess the organisers didn't think Australia would finish second in their group and end up playing a semi final against Japan in that shithole. I don't think the UAE have any chance of beating Japan.
