Hi guys

Have recently started a game with Crystal Palace. When looking at the finances, I noticed a weekly loss of around £3,500k.

Was just after some advice really, the easiest way to get the numbers to reconcile? Is the only way to sell players?!

Football clubs lose money through the season, then you gain most of it back at the end of the season through prize money and sponsorship money.

Yeah i know the end of the seasons is generally where most of the money is made or lost, just wondered if there was anything I could do mid season to help it.

The obvious stuff is new contracts sell players etc but you could ask the board to reduce youth training or stuff like that.

Arrange friendlies to take place at your stadium (higher the opposite club rep, more the profit).

Not sure if some affiliate clubs still charge a yearly fee in fm15, cancel links if so.

Physios are apparently cosmetic, so cull them and just keep one for reports.

You'd be losing £168,000 a year based off £3,500 a week.

That's nothing for a Premier League club, I wouldn't even worry about it.
