Started from the (real) bottom

So let's see results in march, starting with the big clash against Breteuil :



A stellar performance by my team. They were never dangerous. Big big win for the title.



Another easy win to finish the month. 9 goals in 2 matches, very very good month.



And with these wins, we're champions ! Breteuil lost another time. They were the only ones who could stop us from being champions, and they didn't. 3 games left to play, and we're already promoted. Very impressive season. The players were stunning.

Quite an easy season when we look at this, but it wasn't at all. Another promotion is really great. Let's focus on the next season now !

One loss, 2 wins, pretty nice end !

My guys were pretty dominant this year. Helped us a lot to do that great season !

So i'll start this season by showing the goal of the season



I didn't take the risk of having a high objective. I always take the "easiest" one. For the cup, I have to reach the third round, like the season before.

I lost some players. Mazzuchetti et Boussam stopped football, and 3 of my guys left for another team



Tefouet is a bad loss, but at 4K a month, I couldn't afford him.



Especially because I bought Richi to replace him.

I lost quantity, but I think I gain quality so that's quite good.

Ranked 12th, I think we'll finish higher than that. I hope that. And, FYI, the 1st gets promoted, and the 2nd plays in play-off to gain promotion.



A real good pre-season, no loss, I like this idea, I love these players !

Let's start this CFA2 season right now !

AUGUST :



A so-so month. Brilliant opening, we were outstanding. A solid draw against Valenciennes, but a really hard loss in Alençon. And the most surprising thing is that we were quite "lucky" by conceding "only" 7 goals. We didn't exist at all in this game. I don't know how we came at half-time with a 3-3 draw, but we paid that in the second half



The statistics are impressive.. 35 shots !!!



Not a good start, but not a bad start either. We face 2 of the 3 highest ranked teams, so I'm hopeful for the future.


SEPTEMBER :



An outstanding performance in Rodez for the French Cup. They're in CFA and we were impressive. Great defence, and we scored when we had good sequences. Loved this.
A disappointing draw against Feignies, we could have win this, but they have great players. But the end of the month was stellar. A really easy win against Saint-Quentin, it wasn't a match this time.
Finally, a superb game against Amiens, even if it's a close win. My attack is spectacular for the moment !



10 more shots, a great possession, we scored on almost every chances we had ! We took an early 2-0 lead, and then we were up 3-0 at half-time, and they only had 3 shots. Very easy game, I was surprised by that !



We're have such a great beginning of the season.. I hope it will continue !!!

For the 2nd round of the cup, we'll face a 7th tier team !

Another positive note : My attendance is now around 300 fans ! And with the ticket price rising up, we'll have great finances in the end !

OCTOBER :



Two "bad" draws against weaker teams.. 4 points left behind because we conceed too much goals, that's a shame. But two solid wins in French Cup against 2 7th tier teams. It's the first time we reach the 4th round, really good thing, it'll bring a lot of money !



A good mid-table spot. We can finish in the Top 5 I guess, it would be a great season !


NOVEMBER :



Another really hard loss, this time against Avion, which have the 2nd spot in the league. We weren't that bad, but when my team decides not to play, it does that.. Very disappointing. On the bright side we have 2 good wins in championship, and a solid "loss" against a Ligue 2 team. 785K€ for the team with the 4th round performance, it'll help a lot to recruit some better players for the next season.



6th in the league, that's very good ! But the top 2 spots seem out of range for us. Maybe a good run with 5 or 6 wins in a row could help us being closer from these spots. On the bright side, we're just 3 points away from the 3rd place !

DECEMBER :



We were facing the bottom two teams, so 2 wins were expected. Nothing much to say about these games, it was quite in "control", so it's good.



We're only 3 points away from the top 2 teams. Maybe the promotion will be quicker than I thought !


JANUARY :



A difficult win against Gonfreville, which stays in the bottom of the league, a pretty solid win against Valenciennes Reserves and a draw against Alençon, we were not able to take our revenge on them. Two months in a row without a defeat, my team is getting used to this level, I expect a lot of things from them now !



Well, we're a pretty serious team right now. But it's very close between the 1st and the 5th, so we'll have to really take care of business !

FEBRUARY :



A bad month on the quest of the promotion. At least we didn't lose against AC Amiens, and we're "even" on the race. But that loss against Feignies is such a shame. I was mad against the players.



Feignies took our 3rd place, and we're now 4 points away from the promotion. It's getting harder, I don't really like it. A very bad month in the standings.


MARCH :

I'll start this month with the youth intake



Some good potential, and a really solid midfielder. I think he'll help us in the future. I have a pretty good and young team, It's good for the future.

Now, the results..



2 good wins, especially against Perpignan who didn't have a chance regarding the way my players played this game. Boulogne was a bit harder, but we ended up with a solid win scoring 3 more goals. My attack is on fire this season.



The Top 2 teams had a so-so month, and I'm just 2 points away from the play-off and 4 from a direct promotion. April and its 4 games (I'll play Avion) will be crucial !

It's time for the end of the season !

APRIL :



An almost perfect month. A tough win in Marck, a hold-up in Avion (I'll show you the stats later), a very tough win against Amiens too ! But a very disappointing draw against Roye. They're battling to stay in CFA2, and it was just impossible to score in this game. Hopefully, it won't cost me much in the end..



As I said, A hold up in Avion ! I don't know how we won this game, but we did, and I'm really proud of these guys !



WHAT. A. THRILLING. END ! One game left, 3 teams tied. It's pretty simple, the one who doesn't win will not be in the top 2 spots ! I'm "fortunate", I play against Gonfreville !


MAY :

So here we are.. The biggest game of the season. We HAVE to win, to expect something great here.



And we did our part of the job. Solid win, in front of 600 fans (!!!!!!). Now, let's hope the other ones fell..



Avion had a tough battle, but they won. They're brilliant champions, congrats to them !



And Amiens doesn't win ! I'm in the play-off ! Amazing, but the job isn't done yet ! We'll have to win this "final" on a neutral field.

PLAY-OFF :



We'll play in Orléans against Gueugnon, a former good team of the French Ligue 2. It'll be hard, but the reward will be enormous if we win this one.



AND WE WIN !!!!!!!!! We're promoted in CFA ! What an amazing season, I can't believe it.. These guys are awesome to do that, aren't they ?

I'll have to reinforce the team for next season but it's so huge to make three in a row. I hope I'll have a senior affiliate team soon, to have great players on loan for nothing..

Let's start this with the predictions for the upcoming season :



We're ranked last, and far away from everybody. It's up to us to show them they're wrong. 7 reserves teams, so only 9 teams will compete for the promotion.



The expectations from the board. Good objective, I'll do my best.

It can only be good to have facilities upgrades !

So, in order to stay in the division I recruited 4 players, while 4 guys have left the club :











I think they're good players for this level. Let's hope they'll fit fine in my team.
