The Knick is pretty decent, it's like House without all the bullshit that comes with the episodic formula and a lead who is less socially inept. Directed and produced by Steven Soderbergh with Clive Owen in the lead role.

I know you can say everything about is absolutely awful, and all of its characters are awful and somewhere on the spectrum.

But I'm convinced this has left the show in a perfect balance.

Also really enjoying the Leftovers.

Anyone watching the new series of Broadchurch?

I enjoyed the first season, surprise break out show of last year for me. But this season has been utter tosh. Probably going to stick with it till the end, but its getting hard to watch now.

yeah pretty much. Although I think S1 was an extremely enjoyable but not actually very good show. And relied on characters acting suspicious for no reason. Really pissed me off how Mark was acting swarmy during his interrogation, your son just died, stop derailing the investigation and stop acting smug about it.

S2 has the problems of I just don't care about any of the new characters or plots. I really don't care about Lee or Claire or their connection to David Tennant. Or the bluebells, or the personal problems of the lawyers. Also feel like they have no need for Olivia Colman.

The only scenes I care about are the trial.

Really liked the first series of Broadchurch but as you say s02 has been a huge disappointment. It's almost as if you're beginning to wonder why they even went on to make another season.

Agree with Broadchurch, very poor second season. Also anyone watched the return episode of The Walking Dead yet ?, I think it was one of its best in a long time.

The first episode was superb, had a bit of slump but I think it's gotten better the previous couple of episodes, I'm enjoying the Sandbrook story more than the court case and the inaccuracies are frustrating. I guess it's a victim of it's own success. First series was superb, it was going to be hard to match that quality.

I finally got around to House Of Cards and now I'm addicted to it, started Season 2 and I have a week to watch until three comes out.

Just seen one of the writers of Parks & Rec Harris Wittels has died of a drug overdose. Such as shame was so funny on Earwolf podcasts. Apparently only performed Wednesday and talked about how happy he was being clean and sober

No idea what they'll do for Season 3. I'm just hoping we don't have to go through a Sandbrook trial.

I thought Season 2 was quite good, it was never going to be as good as 1. The acting was superb.

I've got a bunch of shows on the go at present; The Flash, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Blackish, Archer and I've just started watching Constantine as well. I also just finished watching Deathnote and have started on Monster and Hellsing Ultimate, in terms of anime.
