Help me with downloads! I'll pay!!

Okay I'm not gonna lie. Absolute retard with technology. I want to be able to download and use things such as logos and facepacks etc but have no idea how to use 'torrents' etc. is anyone local to Leighton Buzzard (Bedfordshire) or London city that would 'teach' me or do it for me in return for a reasonable payment?
