Is this save corrupted?

1/3 of a way through season 4 with Celtic and I just won in the Champs League group stage. Every other victory I've had like 600k-odd, but I was award £1.5m for a win?

I thought it might be the game just keeping up with the times but then I checked my finances and I seem to have an extra £30m in the bank? The value of my club has rocketed, the wages have all gone up, sponsorship money up.....I have no idea what's happened.

E.g. I know for a fact Callum McGregor was on 20k a week, he's now on 31k....and it's not just my team

No one has access to my computer but me, no viruses, etc and I haven't touched the editor.

Is this some kind of bug and is there a way to fix it? Don't want to lose 4 seasons worth of progress!!!

I've never heard of this. Are you sure you haven't accidentally changed the currency or something if all the prices have gone up a certain percentage?

There may also have been tax changes, which I know are in the game, but I don't think it would be that dramatic.

I know for a fact I had something similar to this happen in FM13 around 20 seasons in, but I think that I was playing in Euros, and the exchange rate changed compared to the GBP (or whatever the 'base' currency is) causing a lot of wages/fees/bonuses to change quite drastically. I still have no idea if that was what actually happened, but roughly everyone's wage, bonuses and all previous transfer fees were increased by about 50%.

If there is no exchange rate variance based upon some standard unit of currency, then it is definitely some kind of bug.

Yeah this happened to me I fixed it by changing the currency to something different then changing it back again

I shut the game down and then loaded it again, problem solved.

I've had something similar to this as well, if I remember correctly what had happened was my currency automatically changed to Euros or something and then just magically turned back.

I never checked if it was still sterling so that's possibly what happened here. Anyway, disaster averted !

Yeah as Skacel says sometime the game changes the currency automatically, I've had all sorts of currency pop up, its very annoying

Just wondering if you could post your Celtic team? I'm just about to start my 4th season and wouldn't mind a look at someone else's squad to compare.
