Started a new MLS game & one of my team's Designated Players isn't that good (at least not good enough to warrant using a DP spot on him for the next 3 seasons of his contract). So, got to the March Waiver Draft & figured I wouldn't register the player in hopes that another team would draft him. But when I started the draft, my player wasn't listed as being draft-eligible

Can Designated Players be put in the waiver draft? I assume not since the player wasn't registered on my team, wasn't injured & wasn't listed as a starter or sub on my tactics screen....but I when I googled the MLS Designated Player rules, I didn't see anything in them stating that Designated Players couldn't be waived

I don't think you can waive them unfortunately, the best you can do is offer them out to other clubs.

I dont think designated players can waivered since te league pays a % of the wages and transfer fee has some clubs dont have the money to buy big name players.
