Update problem

I've installed a clear version of FM18 with editor. I've downloaded latest transfer update, and after proper installing it I don't see any chenge in squads after starting a new game with transfer update. For example - Metz player Cafu should be on loan to Legia. When I verify this data on site everything appears to be ok, but after downloading nothing happens. I tried to use editor but i got a communicate that some changes were made on older database and won't work. Is there a solution for this?
