Oldschool transfer budgets/valuations

I'm not really sure what i'm asking for here, I can't explain properly in words what it is i'm looking for. I'm pretty sure it was on the FM subreddit i've seen this posted on so here goes..

How are you able to edit transfer budgets/valuations to make them not as insane...? Like player valuations to be what they were on previous FMs?

I'm not talking about me going Celtic and giving the club 50 million to spend. I'm not talking about going Sevco5088 and giving them -50 million funds.

I hope someone understands this, as putting what i'm looking for into actual words is a headfuck.
