So, without wanting to make sweeping generalisation, we are all closet football managers

and as always, the subject of whether a manager should stay or be removed is completely on topic. Many fans have question the ability of their board to successfully appoint a management team so, just for funsies I have a 2 scenarios that I'd like to hear your opinions on;

1) You're the chairman of your football club in the midst of a management recruitment drive, you've got your shortlist and you've reached the interviews;

- What are your main questions and what would you like to hear?

- What management structure would you like to impose?

- What are your expectations of your new manager?

- What length of contract are you considering and why?

2) You're the manager hoping for the job;

- What are your answers to the questions?

- What management structure would you like to be a part of?

- What are your expectations of the board?

- What length of contract would you be asking for and why?
