Regens before the start of season

Decided to start a new save and when the assistant asked if i wanted an intr-squad friendle i accepted then when he asked who was available for the reserve squad i clicked all of the 1st team, once you do that then regens should appear in dark look through the regens and see whos good and sign them up.After all that just right click all the 1st team squad as not available for the reserve squad until match fit

You can also get new regens from the U21 squad. You simply promote your whole youth team to the reserves at any time of the season. Your youth players then get replaced by greyed up regens and you then sign the ones with good form and relegate your original youth players back to the youth team from the reserves.

You rarely get any quality players through though, although once in a while you get a gem.

When did they bring back regens i thought they still used newgens ?

It's the same thing. Regen/Newgen/Facegen etc.
