Had someone reverse straight into the side of my car today, nightmare. Obviously not going to cost me anything due to the other person being culpable and paying for it but just don't want the hassle of being without my car whilst it's being repaired.

Not good, can understand your frustration as my gf had someone hit her up the arse in slow-moving traffic and was without her car for three weeks. Don't ask me the ins and outs, I'm not technically minded. As long as you have a courtesy car as part of your insurance policy you should be fine.

That being said, it is wierd not having "your car" to drive on a daily basis during the repair period, if that makes sense.

Secret Santa last year was for someone I didn't know. I decided the best present I could possibly get for £5 was a quantity of tat.

I rocked in CEX exchange got 8 of the worse DVDs I could find for 25p a go then headed around to the charity shops buying all sorts of rubbish. He ended up with a vinyl of Barry Manilow, 8 dvds, a small map of Devon printed on a miniature plate, a pair of childrens mittens, a battery powered goldfish and the best of mariah carey on tape.

He wasn't pleased.

All of the shopping done bar a few last minute things which I should get tomorrow and then have it all wrapped and done by the end of the weekend. My gf's massive pre-planning is really starting to rub off on me.

Also just got to write a couple of cheques for my nephews and then I'm completely and utterly done for another year.
