I only saw the incident twice so the only reason I could think of that could show he is innocent is maybe they were running too close together so he put his arm over him to get by quicker but caught him. I did think it was an elbow when I saw it though.

Typical FA really. They pick and choose what they wish to punish and what they conveniently overlook, no surprises really. Had he been suspended he'd have missed the Chelsea and Arsenal games (usually 3 game ban or so for something like that), the FA couldn't have that though. Similar happened with Rooney a couple seasons ago when Clattenburg refused to punish Rooney for similar against Newcastle. Ironically he would have missed the Chelsea game too I believe had he been banned.

Yet, Ivanovic got instantly banned for 3 games last season for a similar thing.

Then people wonder why the FA cop abuse.

Actually the FA were going to act but the ref said he didn't think it merited a red card.
