Scuffet is starting his sixth season at the club, and is unthreatened at his position.
Central defenders
Four solid central defenders, two of them, Oesterhelweg and Müller, from our youth accademy.
Left backs
Fofana is one of the club icons, entering his seventh season here.
Right backs
Quite a few options here, but Gauna or Oesterhelweg are likely starters.
Central Midfield
Crowded. De Groote, Krivov, Surma and Whelan are first teamers and the rest will hopefully develop further - one or two might go out on loan.
Wingers
Grealish and Halilovic are proven players in the team. Now they get competition from new boys Bertrand and Dzaferovic. And hopefully Ioannidis can get a couple of games.
Strikers
Haluk. Then the rest.

Decent winger who has spent his entire career on loan.

As Fola stated above, we have a lot of central midfielders and 31 M for rotation player sin't bad.
Shit loads of money. If think it's time for Ioannidis to step up and take one of the wings.
Just found out he had a 25% yearly wage rise. That would have gotten out of hand... Bought for 4M in January sold for 30 six months later.
I just don't think he would turn out to be a good enough player. He surely wasn't a starter as he thought he was...

Super Surma bossing the midfield. They didn't produce anything, not even after we had a man sent off. Other than being sent off from time to time our two new signings, Krivov and Gauna have been really good. Well done me.
