Yes Jeff I took the video out then I loaded my game in went to prefs cleared cache and reloaded the skin still same problem this happened back in April when I sorted it out and stopped it from showing up if you go on to sports interactive and serch bidstack it tells you there what I did but this time I can't get it stopped at all

Try deleting BIDSTACK_CHANNEL.xml from Users\Grenade\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2018\Preferences\version 2\channels

I've noticed since the 18.3.4 update a couple of days ago that some bidstack ads are getting onto my game and disrupting the adboard pack. Is anyone else having this issue and is there any fix?

If you go into the partners folder in \Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2018\data\simatchviewer_uncompressed\videos\hd\video_ads you can just delete the bidstock.ivf

Once I’ve released the next update, I will still be making Scottish League 1 & 2 ads along side my next project which will either be the top clubs from the Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1 or the Serie A

Rab, I have already done quite a few new video ad boards for the Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A if you want them.

Just haven't got round to publishing them

Since updating to the latest update, two video adboards have started appearing in every game regardless of competition:

And I'm not sure what this one is:

Anyone know how I can disable them so they stop showing? I presume they've been coded in?

Only was around it I've found so far is to turn off the WiFi. Is there anyway the can be uncoded?

not any more we can now force clubs to use video ads regardless of stadia size in the xml file

As Hibernian play in a ground under 30,000 static adboards will display automatically as below;

To allow Hibernian to display Video ads the following piece of code needs added at the bottom of the xml file, this can also been done for competitons or international teams;

This code then turns on video ads and gives the below result

Yep, but not everyone is comfortable editing the .fmf file. If they were I would just make video boards an leave them to add them to their .fmf file. Using the In-Game Editor is an easy work around

The stadium teams play in needs to have a capacity of over 30000 to show the video ads, assuming video ads have been made for that club i.e. Crystal Palace. You need to change any clubs with a capacity of less than 30000 to more than 30000. You can edit this by using the In-Game Editor

Hi Kosic, you can use Xmedia Recode to convert, much easier than ffmpeg.

Had the same issue, turned out to be another file in my Graphics file was corrupt and causing the issue

Not sure how it is a bug. It is working for me and plenty of others. Do the SI boards load if you remove all the video ad board files?

So I play with Rangers F.C., who also use the video adboards, and if I understand you correctly, the "blacked out" boards may be the result of some breakdown in the coding (i.e., a bug) that SI has produced, thereby causing this patch to load and look proper for those stadiums that do not offer the video adboard feature but to black out those stadiums that do. I also believe I understood you to say that you do not anticipate being able to work on a patch until such time that SI repairs their coding to fix this issue internally.

Incorrect. What you need to do is use FM2018 Resource Archiver to unpack YOUR simatchviewer_uncompressed.fmf from :\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2018\data folder. It has to be your simatchviewer_uncompressed.fmf as it does not seem to work so well with other peoples.

You then need replace the videos file in your extracted file with the videos file that contains the video_ads file, (same as FM17). You need to then place your new extracted simatchviewer_uncompressed file, with the videos file in it, into Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2018\data folder. You do not need to compress again, just put the extracted file, with your video adds in it, into the \Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2018\data folder.

I don't bother with the LCD Texture as it comes out in the game anyway. I just make the graphics, do the transitions and convert.

To convert the .gif to avi I use Prism Video Converter Download here

To convert the .avi to .ivf I use XMedia Recode Download here

I also keep mine to 60 pixels high, the same as the SI ones. To me, 88 pixels high makes them over 5 feet high in the scale of the game

OK I got the video boards working as described. However this created a new problem, no shirt numbers. Has anyone else experinced this?

Fixed it, unpacked simatchviewer_uncompressed, added my videos folder in to replace the one in there. Now working

People have been asking for EPL kits and what do you do? Bag someone who does some.

Stick to your Russion kits that no-one wants
