According to the FM26 3D Kit & Ball Viewer, this ball seems to have a fissure on a side. It looks a bit weird in the game with a white streak on it.

Just FYI.

A thing to note: there seem to be some weird things regarding the UEFA Women's Europa Cup ball.

They seem to be using various balls, either Adidas or Select balls, according to this image:

EDIT: Also, in the folder, the Women's Champions League ball is assigned to the Women's Europa Cup

I can't say I like that decision, even though I do understand it. The tweaks that I was doing were rather simple and straightforward, even for someone who doesn't really work with these tools.

Pretty sure you need to look into the background folder and check the mapping file.

As we have again seen skins published which have been poor unauthorized copy/paste jobs, I'd like to announce this:
If I see this happening again, I will immediately stop sharing Skinbuilder version and this time it will not return. We (the Skinbuilder community) have put hundreds of hours into our projects and it's not acceptable to simply copy/paste it and publish it as your product. We gladly share our work with the community but “stealing” is unacceptable.

It really is disappointing to see some people resort to such a pathetic approach. I am making my own tweaks to Darkside's skin, but I would not just publish it, since it's for my own personal use. Because it's simply wrong.

These people put in a lot of time and effort to make such awesome skins for the community. Do not disrespect that!

The pics were just stuck there from the previous version … after the file integrity check, they went poof. So now I can just enjoy the skin without them

Background doesn't change to default, if I remove the modified bundles

Neither does the Start Menu stuff and a few other things

I guess that's also part of the code change. Or I am doing something wrong.


EDIT: Problem solved after verifying files integrity

And that made the message pictures (which were stuck from the previous version) go away. Much better

I didn't place the tick on Messages in the builder … and yet …

Is there a winter ball for the UEFA Women's Champions League? I couldn't honestly find an image for it.

No update preview yet on the SI forums, but if it's not tomorrow, it's probably in 2 days or sometime this week … In any case, it's imminent.

I don't have a Twitter account, but my answer would be ‘Yes’.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the skin a lot. But there's a few tweaks that I would want to do for my own use (for instance, have different things for each save: ad boards, main background, lineups graphics etc.). And that's not something I would want to pester you everytime I want these little tweaks made. I respect the fact that you are doing this on your own time and I'd prefer to do these tweaks myself, since I managed to figure them out rather easily.

I would understand if you would prefer not to put forward the template version, for whatever reason(s) you may have. But I thought I would put my own personal thoughts forward here, since I can't vote on that poll.

One question: is it possible to have multiple options for ad boards, like we have for lineups? Like, for instance, adding Tiny Hips' Generic Ad Boards or Tupai Art's National League Enterprise ad boards as options?

And sorry to hear about your trouble with those individuals using your work to get money. That's just not OK.

Actually, I just used wfm18's config file and now it works like a charm, even with edits made to it (the French women's league still had the wrong ID).

English Women's FA Cup ball doesn't seem to be working, as you can see in the attached image … I did add it to the config file.

I tested the WSL ball, that one is working. Edit: Now this one isn't working either.

P.S. I also tried to use the Norwegian Eliteserien ball for the ladies competition (just simply copied the stuff from the men and changed the competition ID) and it doesn't seem to be working either.

I already deleted, extracted and restarted the game. Something's just not working.


EDIT:

So, after numerous testing, it turns out I cannot modify the config file one bit. Not even correcting the ID from the French women's league. I add just the English Women's FA Cup ball (which is not in the file), the pack is no longer working. I'm not sure what that's happening, but at least now I know why I cannot see the new matchballs.

Would these images be sufficient to put together the 2025 Toppserien ball (Norwegian women's top tier)?

I am trying to find better images, but they've already moved on to the 2026 one so they are kinda dishing the 2025 one aside. The other options are a couple of screenshots from Instagram which are kinda small.

Let me know and I'll look into getting those screenshots, if need be.
