Data files are optional and only work with a new game (select in game) - I just use them to keep track of name changes myself and if anyone wants to use them then fine.

You can keep or delete any file you want, but obviously the newer one has up tp date changes.

I would reckon that you must have a duplicate config somehow - can you check the EPL again and see if the Everton logo works.

Can you also confirm if you also saw overwrite messages on the install as that could indicate a problem if you saw none.

You need to get hold of a Photoshop plugin also which is called Alien Eyecandy Impact in order to make it work - the action contains the settings I use but thats all.

Google around for a free trial of the plugin, but you really need V5.

You put SV Ried with ID 158, but 158 is Red Bull Salzburg. SV Ried is 159

I've made a slight cock up in which I have used a wrong ID so please download and install this quick fix for RB Salzburg - just unzip to your SI docs folder which by default is

C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Sports Interactive

Dont do too much when you're tired

Update 8 is now live so follow the links in the op and get it now !!

Download the file and extract it to your user data folder which is by default

C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Sports Interactive

and accept all overwrites.

900+ new and updated ones this time, but no alternates tis time as I had to cut it slightly short as the WC was beginning and I'm gonna have a wee break so no more packs until probably August i reckon.

anyway thanks to everyone as usual for your postings and for sending me files - really appreciate it and also thanks to VFLnet.com, Weltfussbalarchiv, Loghi Squadra and all the other sites that make my job that bit easier

That has to be done manually by disabling the small flag config

Go into the small flag folder ( C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\graphics\pictures\flags\small) and rename the config to config_bak for instance then save it and reload the skin and the association small logo should display.

Looking for a big favour...My hard drive died and the one main area that wasn't backed up was my FM stuff so lost all saved games, kits, logos etc. I was running an older logo pack and I prefer some of the older logos for certain clubs - namely Crystal Palace, PAOK, Lecce (was originally a much darker blue in an older pack) and Rubin Kazan (their logo circa 11/12 which Kremmen linked for me on p60 of this thread but that link is now dead).

If kremmen or anyone can provide me with these 4 logos - even if it is just the normal size ones - I'd be very grateful. I've tried downloading several updates already but needle in a haystack doesn't even cover it.

Galway has a new id in FM14 as do many other clubs - best to download the latest version really.

Have a question: trying to implement some of these logos into my game database, but having problems getting them to show up in game. If I add them as a separate logo folder, and create a config file (using the Metallic logos config, replacing the #'s), the logos don't show up. If I just drop them into my metallic logos config folder, none of the logos show up. Is there something I am doing wrong when it comes to handling logos for created teams?

you can have only one config so when you add your own customs you have to edit the metallic config to add your own id's. Problem is with every update you have to repeat the process every time.

Requests packs are just for logos not in the database - Orlando will be in Update 8

I've no idea how a Mac works or what Mavericks is, but if the file has no contents all I can suggest is redownload it until you have all the contents.

You can only use one config so thats a possibilty.

Well if you want it fixed then post up some screenshots of anything relevant like your folder layout and filepaths, a list of configs would be good too, just anything different in your SI folder that might expain the problem.
