Update 6 is now live and in the download section - over 1,000 new and updated logos this time

Many thanks to everyone who posted and sent stuff in and as usual thanks also to VFLnet, greatfootball.com, umgrandeescudeiro and all the other great websites that continue to make my job that bit easier

great update as usual what is the file for in the editor folder (Metallic_Update_2)

it's just some name changes etc, purely optional and needs a new game to work so the Real Name Fix file is still the best option

what should I do if a logo is missing? Odd (id 1365) has the logo in the folder and the config is correct too, but I have no logo in the game...

Is this a recent thing or has it been like that for a while?

It's not football league - it's all the licensed clubs on SI's config which dont have a logo - that config is being picked up and thats why they have no logo.

The way you have installed the pack is incorrent - the missing logos prove that.

Latest request pack is done so if you have posted or sent in a non-standard db logo in the last 4-6 weeks it will be in it

Yeah they are for this season, but the fans voted in a poll to get rid of it and replace it with the one in the pack as it lost the historic motto.

The one guy who liked it also thought Moyes was a genius.

They will be created in the db for FM15 with a new ID. I was the FM researcher for Hinckley United and will be for the new Hinckley AFC if they are placed at english level 9 by the FA this summer!

Don't worry I'm not going to replace it but I will add it to the Alt folder just for anyone who does want it - same goes for the Tampico one Al because afaik the one ib the pack is the current logo pulled from their official FB page. The one you posted up is an old one which i made over 4 years ago.

It's not the logo packs mate - the problem is explained further back in the thread and is nothing to do with my pack or anyone else's tbh.

And the config's must be there otherwise no logos at all would work.

no, thats absolutely fine - only takes me around 30 seconds to get the lot into my own folder

@Reiver - I think you've missed a couple of packs as all those logos have been done and the VfB one corrected

I've tried it before and it reaches it's d/l limit very quickly - there's no such thing as a free unlimited download fileserver site afaik.

The only way I know is through the prefences menu.

The only other thing i can think of is to delete the cache from the app data folder either manually or by clicking the button under the interface tab.

Slight problem there with the filepath - you are missing the pictures folder and you really need to stick to the set format to get things to work consistently.

C:\Users\username\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\graphics\pictures

If it's not done like that the config's get confusing apparently.

That could well be the problem - if you load a savegame from a different filepath than your userdata folder it can confuse things I imagine. and tbh none of your stuff should be saved in the SteamApps folder as this will direct the game to look in your program folder for additional files.

All added content and saved games should be in your userdata folder to make sure it all works.

Well you must have done something else as all your SI licensed stuff is not showing.

Post up some screenshots of your install and I'll have a look and see.

EPL logos look fine, but ther licensed clubs have a problem so obviously the install is wrong.

I've no idea whats happened, but saying everything is correctly done is incorrect as it's not working, so either the game has a problem or the install is wrong.

What O/S are you using as that may be an issue as well - most people who have problems run either Linux or Mac and I've no idea what they do different tbh.
