Well you have 27 configs, which is correct, but the dates are all over the place and i dont understand the 'preload false maps' stuff'...very odd - can you highlight the metallic logo folder and right click, select 'properties' and give me the file numbers please?

yeah I guess - some new defaults and some other dimension changes but everything carried over from '16 will be fine.

Honestly i have no idea - logically they should work providing all the logos and configs are there so better check those - type 'config' in the search box in the clubs folder for instance and see if they are they and we can take it from that point.

Logo of Fontenoy United is wrong.It is logo for GAA club from Ireland. Evidence
Unfortunately, I couldn't find the real one,but I think it should be deleted from the pack for now.

Hi everyone!

I've just download the metallic logos pack, put files into the correct folder as you can see in the followed screen. Also the reloading theme button is checked.
But there is no logos in the game.

Can someone help me with that?

Looks ok apart from having no metallic logo folder. If you have them then clearing the cache and reloading the skin should allow them to work.

The file count is the total of all files - when you factor in duplicates and updated files the total should be this

243,082 Files, 61 Folders

This is my own master folder which is the original with all updates - the Torrent is nothing to do with me and so you should not take it's content as gospel.

you just unpack the folder to your Documents\Sports Interactive folder - the file installs here and only overwrites content contained here in this thread, nothing else so dont worry.

Update 2 is now available Here and of course in the download section. Many changes and updates of course but most are pre-release of FM17 so dont expect all new clubs to be covered yet. pack includes new Flag folder as the dimensions have changed and there are also new default logos as the styles have changed. Any other new features will be addressed in future updates naturally.

Intall to your Docs\Sports Interactive folder and allow any overwrites to update your configs.

Many thanks to the usual suspects for posting up or sending me files especially Junior and Baki - cant thatnk you guys enough for all your support as it just makes the whole process smoooother hehe.

Also special thanks this month to Logpworks, scudettitalia and BOTW - there's many great sites, but these guys have worked overtime the past couple of months so bravo!

dont worry or panic if your particular logo is not in this pack - I do things in order of date received as it's the only fair way and with over 2000 files now to work though, it takes a little time to get it all done.

The only editor data file is in the new Update #2 and only has 3-4 changes afaik - use the SUSIE update as it's simpler really.

Just FYI, the Betfred Scottish League Cup logo is set on the William Hill Scottish Cup and the League Cup still has the "sponsored by Utilita" logo.

Yeah the fix is in Upd 2 which is coming in a day or 2

Yes - all logos get done, but i work in order of date posted to keep it fair

Should have said also that updates are generally on a monthly basis - Update 2 is imminent and #3 will be just before Xmas hopefully.

You need to go into your SI folder and change the config name to config_bak for instance which disables it.

Hi @kremmen Have you considered looking at the way they have organized the request system at the "cut out" project.... I was hoping that a similar system could be put in place for the "metallic logos" project.... This is because i love the metallic logo and what it does to my FM gaming experience. I also think it would take some of the pressure of you and make better use of all the resources out there so that the project would run more smoothly. This is just a suggestion. by the way I think you do a massive job

I've not thought about it much tbh - some guys have come on board and made logos with me but not for very long - there's only one guy on these forums thats been making logos as long as me, maybe longer I cant remember tbh, and i'm happy to be working with him right now.

and of course, everyone who contributed on these forums as without all the source material the pack would be nowhere near its current size.

All the logos posted or requested will get done as well lads, just be patient as there are many to do right now (1500 plus so far) and cant be done instantly as they are always done in order.

I opened a topic a couple of days ago about certain competition logos that are wrong etc, and no one has replied to say it will be fixed or anything. I don't know if they just read the message then fix it or if they're just ignoring me. Also an unrelated note, in a years time, will I be charged £10 automatically or will I need to buy it again after the year is up?

Yeah i'm sorry for not replying but BT cut off my phone line on 28th Oct and it was out for 2 weeks so no internet for that time - weird as I was not a BT customer and they seemed to think i was moving..all good now.

sorry mate, but i dont have anything to do with any Torrent right now - that may change as I'm getting better internet soon (replaceing the string with fibres yay!) so we'll see.

Also I have made a boo-boo - I uploaded an update some weeks ago and got caught up in the FM17 excitement and forgot it was 16.11 instead of the original 17.00..my mistake, so if youre up to date as in 16.10 and have switched the folder to your new FM17 install and renamed it football manager 2017 then just intall 17.00 as normal and all should be fine.

if you're gonna stick with 2016 you just need to unzip the update somewhere safe, rename it football manager 2016 and copy/paste or replace over your old install to update it. Pretty simple really, but ask if you are unsure what you have and I'll help you out.

Anyway....drumroll.....Update 16.11/17.00 is now available - only 700 odd as I was pushed for time (as usual) - not too many brand new to the db ones but some nice hq updates all the same

Well there is no small config file in your install - thats why default logos are visible. Navigate to your FM17 folder

C:\Users\your name\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2017\graphics\pictures\logos\metallic logos\clubs\small

and search for 'config' - if there is none then you need to download the pack afresh, or get the latest update which contains the most up to date config files.

I have no idea how a Mac works or how the archiving software works on it, but plenty of guys on here use the logos on Mac's without issues.
