First one I checked was the obvious one, Cuadrado to Chelsea and it's not done. Problem now is, if the biggest transfer of the window hasn't been done, how many others haven't?

Thanks for all the hard work guys. I have one request. Since adding some adboards I am getting a parsing error which I can't solve. Despite having added a hundred or so new adboards I still can't find this error. It just says token invalid line 12969, but the whole thing looks perfect. Is there a way to solve this or do I need to download the entire pack again just to get the XML file?

How to code ad-boards

Open up the ads.xml file located My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2014/ads

First of all you have to load the graphics into FM14 which is done by the following piece of code the near the bottom of the xml file

<record id="2193" path="pictures/ads/europe/clubs/scotland/spl/hibernian/espn"/>

What this code means

 - Just identifies to whoever is reading the xml file what this piece of code is for competitions/clubs..

<record id="2191" - Assigns a unique id number to specific ad-board (you makes this number up but make sure it is not already in use elsewhere in the config)

path="pictures/ads/europe/clubs/scotland/spl/hibernian/puma"/> - Location of the ad-board which has just been given a unique id number

The next bit of code determines where the previously assigned ad-boards will be displayed

What this code means

<list id="17"> - Unique id of the competition/clubs the ad-boards are for

<integer value="2191"/> - Positions adboard number 2191 in to be displayed for games in the assigned competition/club. This code needs repeated 44 more times as there are 45 adboard spaces on the maximum pitch size

I hope to be able to release smaller update packs after changes to avoid people having to re download the entire pack

The problem is SI. They have the number colour as black on a white patch, so it won't show on the 3D kit. You have to go into the editor and change the shirt colour from white and black to black and white, then the number colur to white, then it will show up fine.

Inside the Real Names folder there are some .dbc files which the game no longer picks up. These need to be .fmf files. How can I convert them?

Thanks for the explanation....again. Unfortunately, as there is no explanation with the download, and I don't really want to go through a hundred comments to see if it has been mentioned, the only alternative is to ask the question. You're beginning to get like Dazs8 used to be.

No, it's not the config file. It's marked Metallic_Update_3.xml and was in a separate folder within the download.

Can we have a download just for the updates? We shouldn't have to download the whole pack again for a couple of changes. Even on my ADSL it's a 3 hour download. Also, I will have to make my personal changes again if I download the lot.

I have just noticed, quite by accident, that there are no logos for Athersley Recreation of the Baris league ID 90042432 and Gala Fairydean Rovers of the Lowland league, ID 61063604. I hope you can find time to include these in the next update.

Manchester City staff. 50% have wrong job titles and Jason Wilcox doesn't even exist. (he's the under 18 manager). Forget wonderkids and CA/PA nonsense. Just concentrate on getting the players and staff right.

If everything worked in FM12, and the size and format is correct then it is probably a problem with the XML file. Have you changed anything in the file?
Try creating a new one, (if you know how to).

I'm playing Arsenal at the emirates in the Champions league and all I'm seeing is the default ads, I have reloaded the skin tons of times and I have made sure I'm using the No clubs XML, I changed some of CL adboards, but i kept the same names i.e the numbers, can anyone help me ?
The No Clubs XML does not seem to work at all...

When you say you have changed some adboards, have you made sure they are the correct size? ie 1024 x 128 pixels. Have you made sure they are the right format? If they worked before you changed some then it is the changes that have caused the problem.
