So its the manager not the team apparently. A fantastic victory to take us into the Semi Finals. After taking a 3-2 victory back to the Stadio Olimpico thanks to a 85th minute winner from Mish'an.

We had to be wary in the Home fixture as Dortmund did pick up an early goal and we looked very but thanksfully we regrouped after half time and come back to take a convincing 5-3 aggregate win.



Some how Lorient are becoming a strong team in this Campaign and have a 30 year old Benzema as well as a fine regen striking pair which could do some damage.

We have a very strong chance to amazingly make the Champions League final. With City and Barca in the other Semi Final.

Cheers for reading guys. Makes it worth it.

Yeah my mistake with the gap hopefully we can keep going strong!

League form hit a bit of a dip in between the Champions league games but thankfully we have come out of the slump to win 3 in 3 and not concede a goal. Feel like a broken record now but Eli Mish'an. My God. 25 in 24 games so far.



9 points clear but Inter do have 2 games in hand. The fixtures in the Italian League seem bloody erratic. Hopefully Inter drop some points with those games. Gonna be a close run in with games against Dortmund to look forward to as well.

Not as comfortable as I would have liked btu we manage to sracpe through to the Quarter Finals. The 2 away goals we got in the first leg saw us through in the end. So onto the Semi Final draw and it looks like I am going home...

After picking up a 1-1 draw away from home our chance looked strong coming into the home fixture against Inter.

Unfortunately it all boiled down to luck at the end of the day and after 7 penalties a piece 17 year old Vurdal missed the decisive penalty. Never mind we did well to get to the Semis, now to look forward to the Champions League Knockout Stages and keeping on top of the League.

Its about bloody time. If we don't beat these now I am gonna cry. We even have the away fixture first. Tough tie for my old boys.

We started banging in the goals after Xmas. Some huge wins coming out none better than the 5-0 win against Novara. Mish'an is still in unbelievable hot form. The only reason he didn't score in the last 2 matches is I am resting him for the upcoming Cup Matches.




Sitting pretty at the top 4 points clear of Inter. Hopefully with the busy period coming up that will be enough of a cushion to avoid any missed points we drop. Hopefully we don't. Lazio looking like they are in trouble.

Just what the Boy deserved. In a year or two it will be the Ballon D'or

Fibien Sheta also picked up 3rd place.

After getting through the first 2 rounds we came up against Juventus in a tough Quarter Final match.

Thanks too goals from Sheta, Di Franco and of course Mish'an we picked up the win and will play Inter in the two legged Semi Final

Mish'an is a god.

Not really played them that much tbh. Vural is consistent at left back when called upon and well this is Castangna's Roma Career so far...

So wanted to get through the first half of the season quickly. As you can see only 2 losses throughout all tournaments but a few too many draws for my liking. Wierdly I dropped the tempo of our game down as around October we kept rushing things and conceding silly goals.

This then turned us into the most boring team ever with the last 8 matches having no more than 2 goals in it. The last 3 matches were won in the last 5 minutes each time. Think I need to lie down now. Eli has continued his fantastic scoring form from last season.





Thanks to our busy schedule this season we are actually 2 games behind league leaders Sampdoria and only 3 points off so looking good on the league front. As i said earlier though we conceded far to many goals in that couple of months.





Thanks to that 92nd minute stunning free kick against Porto from Mish'an we managed to take the top spot in our hard group and look forward to an easier tie. Most probably end up with Barca now...

Ofc another difficult Champions League group. I don't think I have ever had an actually 'easy' group. Hopefully we can progress.

Right I feel we have a strong core to the team and that was all good but now we will be in 3 different competitions we need some depth to the squad.


Aytac Vural



First up as we have ageing full backs I wanted to look at signing a youthful prospect to ease into the sqaud. Vural has the stats of a slid left back and at only 17 will hopefully develop into a class full back. Signed for 6.5 million form Arsenal the Belgian looks like he could be well worth the money.


Diego Colin



Next up I wanted another youngster to mould at the heart of the defence. I currently have Rugani and Hurza but that is it really and wanted some cover. I don't want to be playing Colin consistently as he is only 16 but a few games here and there will do him wonders for development.

Bought from Rennes for 12.5 million which is big money to spend on a 16 year old so hopefully it doesn't back fire.


Bastien Bousquet




The most expensive signing of the summer is Bousquet. Being light in midfield and only 1 bad injury will really cost us I wanted some decent rotation. This guy will be worked into the Midfield along with the Trio. Hopefully the 22 million price tag doesn't hang over his head because he has the talent to be class.

Thomas Castagna



The final signing of the summer is the one I am most excited about tbh. Wonderkid Castagna. Bought from Pescera for 11.5 million the young Italian has pace to burn and the motivation to go with it. I have already got Schurrle tutoring him I am convinced this guy will be something special.

The yearly clear out of players not needed coming to the end of thier contracts and a few older players I managed to get some money for. Nothing too exciting.

Daniele Rugani

As you can see our solid season was built on the brick at the back. Rugani was solid all season barely putting a foot wrong and even chipped in with 2 goals and 3 assists. Great performance from the 25 year old.

Xavi

As predicted at the start of the season Xavi pulled the strings in that deep laying playmaker roll. Althoug he didnt actually get many assists everything that happened, happened because Xavi broke up the play and got us on the front foot again.

Eli Mish'an

Here he is, the wonderkid. Had a rocky start to his Roma career but boy oh boy did he come back with a storm. Scoring a massive 30 goals and that is all in the league as we had no European football and only played 2 Cup matches. He also chipped in with 8 assists. What a poacher this boy is.

Fibien Sheta

Another one of the midfield trio dynamos. Dominated midfield's all season along with Xavi and Pjanic. The pefect attacking midfielder chipping with plenty of assists and goals just what I wanted from the boy.

Andre Schurrle

Although the man is getting on now he is till one of the best wingers in the game and proved that this season with a massive 12 goals and 14 assists. Looked a bit jaded towards the end of the season though.


Last though on the performances was that of Di Franco. A very poor average after an amazing season and something we will have to look at...

The end to what is a fantastic first full season in charge sees us pick up the Serie A Title. As you can see Mish'an carried on his unbelievable scoring run into the end of the season and picked up the top goalscorer award scoring 28 goals in the League.



As you can see in the end we actually won the league by quite a margin. Seems like we got some work to do in the Italian League to make it into one of the stronger Leagues in Europe.

The big 4 Italian teams finished in the Champions League places and unbelievably Napoli got relegated.

So ends a very weird, quick season thanks to hardly any cup games. Hopefully with European football back next season we can bring the Italian power back into Europe.

So abit more time between up dates this time. We continued our solid form into the new year. Just look at Mish'an's goalscoring record nearly a goal every game. Unreal considering it is his first season at the club.

Unfortuantly we did get knocked out of the Cup in the quarter finals by Napoli.



We are currently flying above expectations and sit top of the table with games to play. We have already all but secured Champions League football for next year so anything else on top of that is amazing.

We continued our decent form. Unfortunately picking up a couple of losses on the way but we are still going strong.

Good news is that Mish'an has hit a bit of goalscoring form. Rugani has been a rock at the back.




With 16 games played we are nearly at the midway point and are looking good for the Champions League place we were aiming for at the start of the season.

Hopefully the good form continues.

A slow start to the season sees us draw 3 in a row but after that we really got motoring and the team started to click and we have won 6 on the bounce! Mish'an hasnt been prolific but did score 2 in the last match so hopefully that kick starts his season.

The highlight of the first 2 months was a 90th minute screamer from Sheta to get the win.

We are currently sat joint 3rd in the League and if we carry on like this I will be happy.

If you check out the teamwork and work rate of both Xavi and Sheta and then that of Mish'an and Franco that is what will make or break a player.

Now that the back room is rebuilt it is time to rebuild the squad. A quick note on what I said to Sean. One player I wanted to bring 'back' to Roma was one Danielle Fabi. A 19 year old wonder boy that I was so looking forward to bringing back to club which I bought him from at Dortmund but unfortunately the new boss doesn't know what's under his nose and sold him to Seville for 9 million... Maybe one day he will come home...

Now to the rebuilding -

Michele Marullo



First up was a replacement for the departed Stekelenburg. Thankfully we picke Marullo up on a free as we jumped on him after he refused to sign a contract extension with Napoli and we snagged him. At only 25 he looks like he will slot perfectly into the number 1 jersey and hoefully form the start of a very solid back 5.



Sebastiano Di Franco



Next up an explosive winger which I actually had my eye while at Dortmund. Signed from Rivals Inter for 12 million it looks like they could miss a trick by letting this kid go. Hopefully he shows them what they will be missing.

He has the raw stats just looking at his pace, Acceleration, Agility and Crossing. If he develops his other stats well over the coming years he could become a star.



Xavi



The first of my 2 foreign transfers I am aloud to sign in a window as part of the Italian rules. Xavi has the attributes to play as both a ball playing centre half and a deep laying playmaker in the holding role. I will for now be playing in that deeper midfield role and he will drop into the back 4 when rotation needs to come into play and we need the leadership skills of De Rossi.

Cost me 17.5 million from Aletico Mineiro imo will be worth every penny and once settled he will be pulling the strings a la Alonso from the middle of the pitch.




Eli Mish'an



Now this is the only transfer I am not to sure about. I've got to be honest I really wanted to take my young kid from Dortmund, Martinez but he again did not want to join.

Considering the only other choice I have up front is another half decent regen from the Roma academy that has been left to rot I hope this is not too much pressure for Mish'an. He has the stats but his dribbling and first touch have me a little worried. Hopefully he proves me wrong. Mishan was also my second and final Foreign signing coming form Israel.


Fabien Sheta



Ok. I saved the best for last. Fabien Sheta. The 20 year old French international. A midfield trio of Sheta, Pjanic and Xavi I am looking forward to watching these three dictate the play. Sheta will be the advanced playmaker sitting in the hole and making those late runs into the box. The only thing we need to train on him is his dodgy finishing.

Spending a juicy 23 million on Sheta from Lyon I hope it doesnt put too much pressure on him but from what I can see Xavi, Pjanic and Sheta will be bossing games.



I am very happy with the new team I have created here. As I have stated it is only the beginning and it wont all happen in one window but I feel we are well on our way. I would have liked to have brought a few of the talent I nurtured at Dortmund here but alas why would you want to leave that Dortmund team.

This is the biggest overhaul I have ever done to a club. First off I let every member of staff go bar 2 coaches and the DoF. We now have a 4 1/2 to 5 star coaching team and they have had all summer to work with the team.

Next up is the clear out and the most satisfying thing I have ever done on FM.



A grand total of 114 Million and cut the wage budget from 1.9 mill down to 945k. It was beautiful. First up was flogging Mr.Overprised Dona and getting 23.5 Million and 175k a week off the wage bill.

The most surprising was selling 29 year old Florenzi for 30 Million to Juventus. If he doesnt end up on 'Worst signing of the season' at the end I will be surprised.

Getting Lopez out of this club was the next best thing. Not only was he taking up 85k a week but was the biggest prat in the world. Constantly challenging my decisions and causing trouble.

Stekelenburg leaves us on a free. Could have made a decent sub keeper but for 56k a week not worth it.

After that we cleared out a few more players and managed to get the highest wages at the club being De Rossi who will most probably be retiring soon anyway.

Next up is the recreation of FC Roma.

First off this club is a mess. Joining Roma towards the end of a season I can see this is going to be a job. 10th in the league and the state of the club is atrocious! Quickly whipped though the last 4 games of the season and managed to get to the dizzying heights of 8th meaning no European football for Roma next season.

The wages on some of the players and staff are ridiculous. No wonder the club has hardly any money atm.



175 GRAND on a 28 year old half decent centre back. I wouldn't pay even Messi that! I managed to talk De Rossi into taking a paycut for the good of the club which he agreed to but even he is still on way to much.

Stekelenburg is well past his sell by date yet is still draining the club. The only people that I can justify paying that money to is Schurrle, Pjanic and Rugani who seems like a pretty decent regen.

The club needs a huge overhaul...

Right let me fill you in on what I have done. I have still been playing this save but never found the time to carry on updating. I am in the year 2018 and have just completed my legacy within Dortmund and have turned then into the top German team. Finally at the end of the 2017/2018 we managed to win the Champions League and I decided to bring my time to an end in Germany.





Managed to turn Dortmund into one the best teams in the world, and what a team we had.

Apart from the strong team already there with the likes of Gotze, Hummels, Subotic. We had Cristeg, El Sharwaay, Maher and Benzia.

But the real talent came from the regened youth.


So after feeling like I have done all I can do at Dortmund I wondered where to next. I wanted another project. Another country to dominate.

Then this happened.



Nice to know they are interested but no thank you. Maybe Spain but not one of the giants. Thats too easy.

Then the Roma job popped up and as I was looking through there team I could not believe they have never won the European Cup.

This was my next Legacy. Bring Roma European Glory and turn them into Italian powerhouses.
