Villa, Birmingham and Leicester top list of Midlands clubs in financial turmoil... but one team is showing the big boys how it's done

The club can indeed be justly proud of it's financial self control which surely will eventually lead to on field success with so many of our competitors falling by the wayside due to financial ruin. Keep it up step by step...

My one gripe with that article is that it says Forest have struggled since being bought by the Al Hasawi family. How is being 6th in the Championship struggling? Yes, our situations with managers havent been great but King Billy is back home and firing us into the Premiership baby!!

So what do you think Arsenal need to do in the transfer market this summer?

Personally I could see them being a very good side again if they sorted out their defensive side, get a new keeper (used to rate Chesney, not sure anymore), and 2 centre backs (while I like Koscielny & Vermalen and on a good day they are top defenders, they are far to prone to lapses in concentration, a bit like Chesney).

I like Jenkinson at right back, and Monreal at left back. I also think they need someone in the middle of midfield along the lines of Gilberto Silva. Arteta seems to play the deeper role allowing his partner (normally Wilshere) to break forward but hes really not a defensive minded player.

They might want to strengthen up top but I think that Giroud has shown enough and I have confidence in his ability to come good next season.

With their 130mil odd cash reserves and more money from potential sales of dross (Gervinho, I'm looking at you) there is no reason why Arsenal cannot challenge next season, you just need to instill the mentality in Arsene that its ok to spend big every now and again for the good of the club.

Judging by the language used, an American.

Exactly. And we all know that what an American journo knows about football is equal to my 7 year old nephew.

Plus Reading aren't really a Prem side are they? In terms of recruitment. No big player/manager will want to come to them so they have to go for something a bit more untested.

Possibly.

I'm prone to fucked up dreams tho. I've killed someone trying to rob my house with a hammer, smashed his face in to bits and every blow felt like it was real, I woke scared to open my bedroom door in case it really happened. In another I got a blowjob off this old woman who works in a shop I visit on my dinner in work, while she was squatting on a bottle of lucozade.

Sexy as fuck.

I presume you wouldn't be able to have the whole chicken and large chips I get when I go Nandos then

Did that when I was in Airlie Beach. Whole chicken, large chips and large coleslaw. With a drink.

Was meant to go out that night. Fell asleep with the meat sweats at about 9pm.

I think you should go for what Fanny said but make it a trick.

Get the groom really fucked up and tie him up. Get some gay guys to bareback him etc and tell the groom that you are giving him AIDS as a wedding present.

The twist, no AIDS, just a sore arsehole, broken pride and a ruined marriage.

That's like telling a Scottish person Father Christmas isn't real.

Maybe its the law that in Scotland you are only allowed to drink Irn Bru?

I tweeted about this, I'd have said he'd 'got to grips with management' when he was winning trophies with Porto

ITV commentary team are fucking clueless. Similar with the BBC though TBF, maybe slightly better. Dont have SKY/ESPN so cannot comment. Are they as bad?

Inter were awful. Too many players that are far too average.

That said Spurs were very good, in possession but I thought mainly without the ball, Inter couldn't keep the ball for more than 30 seconds in the first half.

Dembele is class, knows just went to play the easy ball wide and when to turn and run at the defence. So strong and easy on the ball.

It appears Ben Arfa's playing as the focal point of the attack tonight, I assume it's to give us a more defensive approach tonight. Great to see him back in the side regardless.

Unfortunately Coloccini's apparently out for anywhere between 3 and 7 weeks after he broke bones in his back! Good job we bought Yanga-Mbiwa.

Coming from someone who has back problems.... That must hurt like fuck...

Argo was fucking fantastic. A lot better than I thought it was going to be.

I also watched Napoleon Dynamite. It's the kind of film I should like but I thought it was absolutely shite.

Considering it's Origin-only, you're not really going to buy it unless you already have an internet connection.

Anyway, I've gotten a few more hours of playing time between all the server fuck-ups. The game is awesome, a real shame the experience is being fucked up by EA and their shitty servers.

Having played the game, I can totally see why they've gone for an always-online approach, I wouldn't really have any complaints about it had their fucking servers been working properly.

What if there is a big server crash like Blackberry had and its down for days/weeks?
