Begovic to Chelsea. De Gea to Barca and Courtois to United...

Thats definitely not going to happen!

But even if Chelsea get rid of Courtois then there is still plenty of time for them to find/buy a potential replacement for Cech who will be playing for Chelsea for another 5 years minimum.

How does that make any sense for Chelsea who were interested in a keeper?

Because instead of paying 50 million for Falcao they can pay closer to 35.

More chance of getting ahead of Begovic and Sorenson than Cech and Courtois anyway tbh

Maybe De Gea to Barca and Begovic to Man Utd?

And Courtois to Atletico as part of a swap with Falcao......

He normally plays behind the striker, I think that's where Laudrup likes him anyway.

Played behind the striker in a few games at first but has been playing up top.

Also there more chance of going to the moon on a hoover than Wenger signing anyone.

It's not a risk if Tony Fernandes stays comitted. And he's the one making the decisions.

Anyway Swansea don't seem to be linked with a striker, surely they're not going to just go with Itay Shechter and Luke Moore for the rest of the season. Although £5.5m for Danny Graham seems a touch overpriced.

I reckon Pulis wants Butland for the publicity of having an England squad regular.

Michu.

Stoke have bid £4M for Jack Butland. BBC

Aye. Will be loaned back for the rest of the season.

Maybe Begovic is off in the summer?

That's a big if though - there's plenty of mercenaries at QPR who might be happy to stay with them in the Championship and collect their massive pay packets rather than leave for another side who aren't stupid enough to pay them the same as what they're earning now. QPR might well survive this season and good luck to them, but I'm not an advocate of risking the long-term future of the club in order to secure short-term success.

Just had a quick look at their squad, and QPR could conceivable sell/release 8-10 players and not be any the worse for it. Most of those on 30-50 grand per week.

I dont blame Harry, he's just trying to rescue the club from a bad situation. I blame Mark Hughes, he was signing players like I was playing Championship Manager 10 years ago!

Call me old-fashioned, but I don't think potentially bankrupting a club in an attempt to stay in the division is a clever move to make. I'm not saying QPR shouldn't spend, I just find it staggering they're willing to hand out 4 1/2 year contracts to 28-year-olds worth 100k p/w - there needs to be some middle ground. I agree with you about guys like Bosingwa though.

The problem is, the players they want/need, you will have to pay them a slight premium to come and play for the bottom team in the league, and they are not going to accept 1 or 2 year deals.

Basically QPR are lucky they have a rich owner. If they were run like Stoke/Everton they'd be fucked.

I agree with you in principal, but what other choice do they have?

On SSN this morning there was a football financial analyst, and he said that currently clubs got 45 million last year each in tv money, but next season it will be more like 60-70 million. Compared with the comparative pittance they would get in the Championship (plus parachute payments) then if their spending keeps them in the division then you have to say that it would be worth it.

If QPR stay up you would have to assume that there would be a massive clearout in the summer. The problem is not paying people like Samba 110,000 p/w, who are going to play hard and earn their money; its paying the people like Anton Ferdinand and Bosingwa 40,50 or 60,000 per week to sit on the bench and generally be shite. QPR have far too many players in the latter category.

He was a tremendous player. Apparently he's still good when he actually plays.

Norwich have apparently put in a bid for Steve Morison from Leeds.

Lol wut? Norwich just bought Becchio from Leeds and send Morison part ex. This was about 2 hours ago. Dont think he's coming back that fast.

Or get in the Premier League team of the year?

Dyer was fucking awesome.

Did he?

Didn't think he'd ever played long enough of a season to get into a team of the year!

I'll admit I hade having the IV needle in my hand/wrist as that is always quite painful, but fainting from a bloodtest?

I remember when we were all going to have our TB innoculations at school and they had crash mats for anyone who passed out, Everyone was making out the needle was about six inches long to scare each other, in the end it was fuck all.

Never had my TB jab.

Was ill on the day, then no-one told me about the jab day for those who missed it. I got to punch everyone in the arm and get no return TB jab pain. Mwahahahahaha.

The worst is when your in hospital and they pull the needle thing out that goes into your wrist vein that supplies antibiotics. Was under when they put it in but when they took it out it just went on and on and on.

Aye thats the one I meant. They can put them in your hand/wrist/inside of your elbow. Basically any easily accessible vein.

"Some birds are not meant to be caged, that's all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. And the part of you that knows it was wrong to imprison them in the first place rejoices, but still, the place where you live is that much more drab and empty for their departure."

Balotelli.

Goal are claiming that Arsenal want to sell Santos to Fenerbahce, use Vermaelen as a left-back and then sign Nicolas N'koulou from Marseille.

It's an ambitious plan if nothing else.

Good plan though. Santos has got to be the worst defender in the league.

Same happened to me a couple of times.

Worst was after I had knee surgery and they took the needle our the back of my hand. Got up, was ok, then started feeling really bad. Managed to get over to near a chain, spun round and fainted into it. Was touch and go if I was going to be able to go home for a bit.

Also, TS, its AIDS, definitely AIDS.

I know what Wenger is doing.

He's saving up all his money to buy Messi and Ronaldo next summer, sneaky cunt.

Imagine if a Premier League club was able to do that.

Sepp Blatter and the rest of his Spain loving cronies would probably implode or make up a new rule outlawing it.

I think they have to pay you some, I was off for two months from my part time job at the local newsagents last year after I had a ACL reconstruction, but I got paid for six of those eight weeks.

Might have been statutory sick pay? That only kicks in after a week I think.

Thats the problem working with big companies, you are just a number.

Shouldn't be skiving off work then should you?

Harsh. Had Norovirus and was off for 2 days. Didnt even know about it until I got my pay slip!

I'm not sure what sick pay at my company is, but generally, if you're ill, you're not getting paid.

You're paid per hour am I right? I think generally if you are paid per hour/part time then you dont get paid sick pay.

Just dont understand it? Is it better for me to go into work ill then?!
