Sodje will be sorely missed. Still a rock-hard defender who does the nitty gritty work. His legs are obviously gone but his lack of pace he makes up with his desire and his pure will. It is rumoured that Izale MacLeod is still in his pocket. Good luck for the rest of your career Efe!

We have about 16 trialists at the club, according to Tom Hopper. I consider going to our reserve game tomorrow against Shrewsbury

Very sad news for all Bury fans, Efe Sodje is meant to be signing for Macclesfield on loan tomorrow. His contract is up in the summer, so yesterday was probably the last time he was on the teamsheet as a Bury player.

I didn't know about it no, but then it's not for me to know. Blackwell accusing us of all sorts just because he doesn't know the rules is ridiculous. I think its fricking awesome Marshall has told Luton where to go. You can't just arrange a deal for someone without the player even wanting to move.

Our managers spoke with Marshall and his agent to see what he wanted, and he said himself he didn't want anything permanent until the summer. We might not even sign him in the summer, but we'll see. He's doing well for us, he's no world beater but he's decent enough. Hope he bags the winner against Luton on Tuesday night.

And also, L2 isn't really that much different to the BSP, especially the bottom half of L2, all much of a muchness.

I heard his wife told him not to leave before summer, but that's not for me to know.

I think you're being a bit harsh on Blackwell. Obviously he's a bit angry about your behaviour but you have to understand his point of view. We just paid a PFA loan and got our transfer embargo lifted and the money we could have got for Marshall (fee and wages) would have been very helpful. KB can be a bit choleric and emotional at times, we all know that but I'd rather have a choleric manager than someone just accepting everything and saying nowt.

Blackwell can fuck off aswell, accusing us of underhand tactics, the lad actually enjoys his football here you nob. Not out fault you dont know the loan rules!

I didn't knew about this 24 hour rule aswell and I bet you didn't knew about it either

My guess is that Scott talked with Marshall about his situation and told him to play down his contract at Grimsby and then they will sign him on after his contract is down so they don't have to pay him a fee. Clever, but you may admire him at BSP just to find out he won't cut it at L2 level.

Don't know why Gradel would want to move back. Leeds don't look better than they did under Grayson. A boring to watch side making underwhelming signings without any ambition for this season, I'd doubt that's what Gradel would want but you have the cash, so nothing is impossible

Joins on loan from Peterboro until the end the of the season. If he can get his form back he had while being part of our team when we got promoted, then I'll be delighted. Poleon is available too I heard. Poleon & Ajose as a front pairing with Hopper supporting, that would be amazing

Ashley Eastham re-joins our party squad until the end of the season. Very pleased with that. Solid defender, who already knows the squad from his last loan period here. We recalled Marcus Marshall from his loan at Grimsby because Luton apparently offered to buy him (bit idiotic because his contract is up in the summer).

Also interested in a striker that was part of our promotion squad (Ajose then).

Transfer embargo has been lifted today. Only 18 days of the transfer window gone and many interesting players signed elsewhere (Garner i.e.) so we need a bit of luck and lots of patience to get the right players in. Not heard many rumours apart from the Danny Pugh link yet, but its important to be able to sign anyone again.

Finished 1-1. Roger Johnson equalized with a decent header at the back post after a fine Jamie O'Hara cross.

Lucky point for Blackburn imo. Attack almost non-existent especially in the second half and their penalty was their only contribution to the game.

Lost 1-0 against Tranmere. 10 games without a win - I'm starting to forget how a win feels like. Normally, I would still be confident if we could sign some players, but the embargo is holding us back. We've also been setback by the news that Matt Doherty has to go back to Wolves although he wanted to extend his loan here. Shame, player of the season imo.

Oldham sack three members of their backroom staff but keep Dickov. Football geniuses.

Our cull has begun. Marcus Marshall's loan to Grimsby has been extended till the end of the season and Lateef Elford-Alliyu has been released. Couldn't care less about both of them. Neither Marshall nor Pan have conivinced and as we are a bit short of goalscoring power upfront it's the right the decision to get rid of the deadwood

To be serious, I think Rovers HAVE to go for a weird foreigner as manager again. Who in Great Britain would honestly want to manage a team which is rotten to the core and with a bad reputation in the country given various media reports? Obviously Venky's wouldn't appoint a manager who would give them mouth and would not just be a typical yes-man.

Worrying times to be a Rovers fan.
