Just got back from Rotherham. First half we were crap kept lumping it forward and Gestede also went off injured

there goals were poor one after we couldn't clear a corner the other Steele with a very poor left footed clearance which hit Bechio and went in. Second half we were much better. Rhodes missed an absolute sitter which is very rare for him. Hanley and Duffy also had chances. But overall we were not good enough and deserved to lose. Duffy and Hanley at centre back are very shaky and at the moment we only seem to start playing when we are 2-0 down at half time.

I have been losing 3-0 and drawing 1-1 at the end of matches the games have disconnected and I have not lost or drawn the game strange. Not that I am complaining but it would be frustrating if it was the other way round.

Very entertaining at Blackburn yesterday but still I wish we could defend. There first goal going in when we tried to play offside but Vydra was in and smashed in. There second was a very good free kick off the inside of the post. Which Steele could have done better with. Second half we were brilliant Gestede heading in an Ollson cross and Tunnicliffe heading in after good play by Marshall. We should have won it as well as Rhodes and Gestede both missed excellent chances and Cairney hit the bar with a free kick. Having said that because of our defence we could also have lost it as they looked threatening whenever they went forward. Hopefully we should be able to win away at Rotherham on Tuesday night

I forgot to say, Dan that Jake Kean has joined you on loan from us! Great keeper for u as he was our number 1 for a long time but then he made a few mistakes and was dropped but he is a great shot stopper and he should do well for u and could be our number 1 again one day. Did he play against Peterborough? If so how did he do?

Good win away at Fulham! They went down to 10 men right on half time which was apparently a horror tackle by Hutchinson on Williamson. I haven't seen it as I was not able to make the game but apparently it was awful. Bowyer has said he has not suffered a break though! Rhodes getting another one off a miss hit Evans shot! Which is great! Also nice to hear Steele and Duffy both played well on debut!

Unlucky mate. Tough result against Real Madrid but they are alot better than us. 2 good league wins. Rangers and Celtic are now both better than us

Big news at the bottom if it goes through we should carry it on for a little longer I say! But as you say very annoying it didn't happen a few years ago.

Unlucky Dan. Not sure what has happened this season as have all struggled for form which is a shame

Great win over Real Madrid in the first leg! And not conceding any goals! Shame we can't win a domestic trophy and it looks like we may finish 3rd for the first time but we have done ok! Celtic have just pushed on alot. Good luck Shedender!

Well it could be alot better. I shall go through it game by game: We didn't do very well against Forfar but Dobson won it for us with a scrappy goal off a corner. Against St Mirren we were not very good again but they won it with a penalty and then a rebound off a saved penalty. A very good win away at Dundee United was next where we played very well! Against Aberdeen we also played well, Enric getting his first league goal for the club they had a goal disallowed late on as well, The cup game was a disaster we were 2-0 up with 10 minutes to go but they scored a goal off a free kick and another decent finish so it went to pens and the first 7 players on each team scored but Armstrong missed his so we lost, Then we drew 3-3 at home to Hearst after going 1-0 down we got it to 3-1 at half time but they scored 2 second half goals and we drew, then we beat Aberdeen in the cup 2 great goals won it, the Rangers game was gutting Barton gave us the lead but they went 2-1 up and then had a man sent off and we equalized but then Jovovic made it 10 v 10 and in the last seconds of added time they won it

against Dunfirmline we were shit and Barton scored an own goal off a corner under no pressure to hand them the win. Then I changed formation and we were much better going 3-0 up against Lyon but they scored 2 late away goals to make it close. Barreto was amazing against Inverness scoring every chance he got to get an amazing double hat trick! We took the lead against Lyon in the 2nd leg but they levelled soon after and missed alot of chances to win it including a brilliant penalty save by O'Halloran! With 3 minutes left to send u through!

We are 1 point behind Rangers as Celtic just beat them. We have never finished outside of the top 2 since the game began so hopefully that will continue!

Transfer wise I signed these 2. Both have so far not done as well as I hoped but they have been ok. Kuswik getting sent off on debut didn't help. Malone has gone out on loan due to wanting a loan move, and Dobson and Girard both wanted a move.

Bradley Barton has been amazing if it wasn't for him then god knows how far we would be behind he has scored some very important goals and he has been a great free transfer, Trubitsyn only has 5 goals all season so we need Barton's form it's a shame Trubitsyn has been so poor this season though as he missed a hat full of chances apart from a penalty in the shootout against Patrick Thistle.

Yep, the better team did indeed win. As much as I wanted us to get an equaliser (was it Gestede with the header off the corner? or Duffy?) it would have been completely undeserved as they outplayed us to be honest. Especially in the first half anyway.

They played some nice football but I can't help but feel that we let them - Cairney and Evans didn't really do much in the middle to prevent them playing. I really like Cairney but Evans is worrying me a bit at the moment - he just doesn't do much apart from keep possession well with short passes. You wouldn't have known he was there last night but when Tunnicliffe came on, he was excellent, got in their faces etc and played some good passes forward. Shame he can't play this weekend.

Yep their 3rd goal was a push on Conway, although even though the ref didn't give a foul, we didn't have to go and let them score! So still poor defending. Well, it's been poor all season. 14 conceded in 7 now and if that carries on we'll just stay where we are now and where we were all last season - mid table. Bowyer needs to sort the defence out, Duffy has to play on Saturday but I think the problems run deeper than the personnel in defence to be honest.

Venky's were there? Didn't even know. Bastards. I think we won against Villa when they very first took over, Pedersen scored two, don't know if you remember!

With regards to Evans I agree I thought he was poor yesterday and he hasen't offered an awful lot for a while. Tunnicliffe certainly looked alot better and as you say it is a real shame that he can't play this weekend as he looked so much better than Evans in the time he was on yesterday he should he straight in against Watford.

I agree definite foul. But no one pressed the ball everyone just stood and watched Ward curl it in the corner. Yeah we won't go up conceding that many goals we are great going forward it's just the defence that needs work and also someone should sit in front of the defence as we have alot of attacking players but no one seems to want to sit in front.I thought Evans would do that job but he seems to like to get forward too. Duffy should play.

Ha ha yeah as I sit next to the dug outs they were right behind me. They were pretty excited when the goal went in, but they didn't even watch the end. ah yes I do remember that game, must have forgot they were there! Thinking about it they were there when we beat Arsenal 4-3 that time as well on Yakubus debut. Still they haven't seen us win the championship.

I can't make the Fulham game this weekend, But I am going to Rotherham away on the Tuesday night after the Watford game! Are you going to either game?

Disappointing to lose to Derby last night. We deserved to get beat but we put up a fight in the last 15 minutes. Marshall put us ahead in the first minute with a deflected shot. But they were ahead by half time. Hughes, Bryson and Dawkins were all excellent for them. The 3rd goal should never have happened as it was a clear free kick on Conway but the defending was crap too as no one went out to close the ball down. Gestede made it 3-2 off a Marshall long throw that shouldn't have counted either anyway as Marshall's feet were on the pitch when he threw it. We could have got a point as Gestede had a header deflected onto the bar and Cairney a shot tipped over. But overall I think the better team won.

Also Venkys turned up to the game last night which was a surprise and if I remember rightly we haven't won a game whenever Venkys have come to watch (granted that is not very often) they also left about 5 minutes before the end.

At least we've recovered from that mauling at Ibrox and sitting in second place. Tough Champions League group this time around but we could take second place if we're lucky and win our three home games along with picking up some sort of result away from home. Didn't deserve to beat Hearts though, can't believe we were awful.

Yeah we are yet to play well in any games so far this season. But as long as we are getting results it doesn't bother me. The game against Rangers was awful. Tough champions league group but hopefully we can beat Lech home and away and draw with Schalke away but beat them at home we should go through.
