May has been quite poor tbh, does to much chasing about and doesn't get into goal scoring positions, hasn't done anything really to get a call up. Its ridiculous that Rhodes doesn't get called up, he's a natural goal scorer, altho I think the way Strachan plays doesn't suit Rhodes style

Yeah I thought it was weird especially as Rhodes hasen't been called up for a while and then May gets in ahead of him. Yeah I heard something about Strachans style of play not suiting Rhodes so that must be it.

Decent point for us yesterday, still just a point off the play offs. I couldn't make the game but I watched the end of the first half and all of the second on a stream. There goal shouldn't have been a corner in the first place so we were unlucky there. But still the defending off the corner was poor as the ball should have been cut out at the near post. I was surprised that Rhodes was dropped to the bench for this game as we went with just Gestede up top and Gestede scored a brilliant header from about 15 yards that hit the bar and the post which spun over the line

after that Steele made a decent save and Hanley had a great chance with a header but neither team really created much and a draw was fair! Hopefully we can get back to winning ways at home to Leeds after the international break.

Amazing run to the end of the season! Tough season for the majority of it but from nearly being sacked to finishing 5th is brilliant

Here is our start to the season! Not a bad start the first game against Thanda Royal Zulu we didn't play that well but we defended really well heading everything away and also there were some good saves by Ndlovu! There goal and our goal were very similar both low finishes off crosses!

The second game was a brilliant win at home to promotion challengers Milano United! We played very well Mbuyane scored a rebound after a shot was saved! Matle scored from about 40 yards out after a poor clearance by there keeper! Dlamini pulled one back for them with a header off a corner. But Ngebo finished off the game for us with an amazing goal picking up the ball out wide all by himself cutting inside beating a man before curling the ball into the far corner for his second goal in two games!

It wasn't a free-kick because the ball didn't leave the penalty area (which it turns out is a rule).

Ah ok! I was just going by what Gary Neville said in commentary.

What exactly was the second one disallowed for? Surely the punishment for Hart would've been the concession.

Not that it matters given MCFC have been shite before and after that.

He touched it twice when it was free kick apparently it should have been an indirect free kick to QPR.

Didn't quite think the squad and finances would be in that situation, tough work to sort out George!

Yeah I know neither did I, turns out we had a load of dead wood on high wages in the reserves though so alot of them have gone and I have bought in some players and we are now under the wage budget! As I look to add more! And the board also gave us an extra bit of wage budget!

Couldn't believe it! Was tearing my hair out when their second went in. Not sure what must have gone wrong, hopefully it doesn't affect us and we can go down to Brighton and win.

Also did you see that we've only lost 4 games out of the last 29? Great statistic really, we're definitely doing something right! Just need to keep it up...
