Pre-season went down well. Won all matches and got an idea of the way I want to play, not perfected it yet though. Played a mixed batch of teams, meaning I could test some things and give some youngsters a run out.

Managed to get the board to invest in the youth training facilities but they refused to upgrade Lennoxtown. Up next we have the Champions League qualifiers and the big kick off of the 2013/14 season.

This is how it looks at first glance, may be a few changes but not much. There is a few quality players not selected, so we have a lot of room for rotation just like Man City.

Not much to comment on the tactics yet as most of it will be changed slightly. I realise I don't have the squad to play exactly like Man City so I'm going for a toned down version but with the same basic principals.

First day on the job, fixed the training, set a base tactic (a good ol' 442) and sorted the first team out. Tactic wise I hope to try and set it up the way Man City have been using the 442 recently, hopefully this works out.

Also as per the moneyball challenge guidelines transfer budgets are disabled in the first window so I'll have to work with what I have.

So after a bit of an exile from FM I couldn't resist giving the 14.3 update a blast. Had a wee browse and thankfully a few Celtic players have been improved. I'll be back with the Moneyball challenge. The ultimate goal is to win the Champions League with Celtic.

Probably have an update in the next few days after I've got things off and running.

Targets:
- Domestic treble within 2 seasons
- Champions League quarter final within 3 seasons
- Champions League Final within 5 season
- Manage Scotland at any level at international tournament (bonus)

It'll be tough. We should beat Sporting and if we take a few points off Marseille I don't see why we can't go through.

Put together a great young squad there! Great achievement getting an all English squad, and thats coming from a Scot lol! I'd like to do it with Celtic but I'd have a huge problem for a keeper.

So the second stage of my journey begins. Its not Greece but it would have taken too long to do it in the exact order. The £1.8k p/w wage rise also swayed my decision. We've got a decent squad but finished bottom of the A-League.

The season went from bad to worse. I got offered a good job just after the final game of the season. I think I might take it but it sways from my plan of doing everything in order but fits in with my new rule about wages.

If I do accept it I fully intend on finishing in Scotland.

So the finances are dire and a few players won't sing new deals including my star striker Ruben Ramos. The ones who did all took wage cuts. I managed to cut over £1000 p/w off the budget.

Yeah it was mate, the bank balance is slowly building up.

A good start to the season. The busy month of qualifiers tired the team out and called for a bit of rotation causing us to drop a few points. We still managed to top the table but ideally I would like to be at least 2 more points clear. The target for January is 12 points.

Finished my turn, we done ok. Enough to sit 2nd in the table and reach the EL Group Stage. Great to have Morrison back he'll be a key player this season I think. I'll upload the file and send it on tomorrow.
