They have said it will be “early December”, though there is no guarantee they will have fixed sleeve patches not working.

Wow, that's insane! Great job! Do you you think it would ever be possible to remove the outside “running track” (I know its not a running track but cant describe what it's called lol) from Old trafford to bring the fans closer to the pitch? I know it sounds ridiculous, but it's the one thing that has really bugged me over the years that FM have done! Would love a stadium similar to the look Besiktas or Juventus have in the game!

Not really insane, it's just swapping one stadium model for another. There is nothing unique about Old trafford in the file. At the moment the only things you can change are: if there is a stand, if it's seating or standing, if it has a roof and the colour of the seats.

There is no changes to Old trafford in the editor file. The changes I made in simatchviewer.fmf mean it now looks like this (much better I think):

It's hard to say exactly because this file was made for FM23 and covered a lot more leagues. I have been going through and correcting mistakes created after converting it to FM24. I've mentioned in the intro what leagues. In terms of Europe England , Spain, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Scotland, Austria (all playable leagues done). Some leagues like England needed very few changes, some like Spain needed lots. If you see anything that could look better let me know. The only thing that can be changed is: if there is a stand, if it's seating or standing and if it has a roof.

Could I just ask you what parts in the contents of the simatchviewer.fmf archive have been edited, so that I could reapply only those particular files/folders when FM 24 gets updated, without having to overwrite the entire new simatchviewer.fmf in the process, please?

Sure. So if you unpack simatchviwer.fmf go to art>environments>stadiums. I've moved around some of the files there. I would encourage you to do some experimenting of your own and see what you can come up with.

Well we played the game for years without the sleeve patches. You could always add them onto the 3d kits yourself if you really want.

No need to hold your breath, just carry on playing FM. They will either fix it or they won't. You won't need to start a new save for it to work if it does get fixed (probably).

to a lot of people it wouldn’t really matter but the finer details like these really help complete the game for me. considering the effort they put in with the European patches on fm23 I’m quite surprised they Haven't included them this time round

They are included. There is a bug which is stopping them showing up which they haven't bothered fixing.

The 23 version works well in 24 when validated

play as Leeds and have the reasonably accurate stadium with player named stands etc

There are no changes to Elland road but glad you're happy.

OK there is a lot of things that need to be redone. But for the most part if you load this file up in the FM24 editor and save it. It should give a much improved stadium experience. Though I don't have time to test it now.

I won't know till I have the editor. Fingers crossed it won't need too much work, but you never know. I'm planning to get stuck into it as soon as I have some time.

They truly make the game look so much better. It disappoints me so many people don't use them.
