I've downloaded the Data Update and extracted the file as it said to, it provided me with the file with everything in except for the "Promotions & relegations" which I had to extract aswell, and "General changes.fmf" these two weren't included in the original extracted file. I dragged them both in and then put the folder into editor data. I went onto FM and loaded up a new save and made sure I had them ticked but when I went into the game everything was normal. Can someone help please?

Beşiktaş has a director of First Team. But I can't find that person in DB of FM 17. Here's the proof for his position in the staff.

I enjoy the updates and always use them but why are the transfer budgets never changed? I know it could be hard to work out what they are but maybe to the ones that have sold players for a bit or something would work?

check with GeneralChanges file that you can download in the Live Update.

like i said previouslly, if you retire him you can't move him to staff.
He is director already using GeneralChanges.fmf file
