Barca who? Unfortunately it was all downhill from there. Fraser Forster was ruled out for 6 weeks and I paid for not replacing Lukasz Zaluska, my number on priority in the January window. Really need to kick things on in 2016. The next match against Dundee Utd is probably the biggest of the season.

Disappointed to slip in the rankings, two tough games against Chile and Columbia at home. Hopefully we can get a win over both and climb back up the table.

Another poor month for us. Failed to open the gap at the top again. Not scoring enough and conceding too many, going to mix things up next month and maybe have a squad revolution in January. We have to better Juve's result in the final fixture to reach the last 16.

Tough group really, all fairly average teams but Sweden and Belgium will fight you for it I'm sure!

I predict Belgium then us and Sweden fighting it out for 2nd.

Another win, and Jordan Rhodes nets again! Unfortunately Darren Fletcher played his last game for Scotland at the age of just 29. Hopefully I can convince him otherwise when the Euro qualifiers begin.

Things have turned round spectacularly since the defeat to Australia, two wins on the bounce and the gap closed to 5 points at 2nd place.

Qualification is still possible but we need every result to go our way, which it won't. Scott Brown made new captain to usher through the next generation of the National side.

Will probably go for a fast paced 4141, I'll stick with the Old Guard for the first few fixtures before handing out any debuts.

Next up the Aussies at Hampden.
