#315753 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Premier League
SO we managed to finish 6th AGAIN overall 1 point better than last season... Definitely happy overall but disappointed to lose out on 5th position due to 1 goal difference with Chelsea. Luckily results went our way at the end of the season with Leicester and Southampton loosing. The last 10 games saw us win 5/10 and get a superb 3-0 win over Chelsea and come away with points from Tottenham and Arsenal.
Europa League
I couldn't believe we didn't managed to reach the quarter finals despite doing so well! AND I couldn't believe we didn't score home we threw everything at Lyon we had and credit to the keeper he was fantastic, to even qualify from the group stage was a huge achievement and the furthest Rovers have ever achieved in Europe. Lyon did go on to the Final were they we're beaten by Atletico in the final!
End of season Review
First of all we was prepared for a take over that went on for over a month! In the end it didn't happen which has wasted precious time in the transfer window! We are still in the interest of a takeover in the near future which I am desperate far we are still in a £140M debt caused when the current owners joined the club so could do with this been cleared and extra funds!
For the 3rd season in a row Loftus-Cheek is player of the season and for the 2nd time in a row I'll be doing all I can to sign him, he has been capped twice by England now and still young valued at £20M he could be costly but worth it!
For me personally my favourite player and with the highest average rating was NIANG he was extraordinary and he's just signed a new deal at £100k a week becoming my most expensive player but worth every penny 34 Appearances 10 goals & 10 MOTM 7.69 average rating in the premier league what a signing! But my biggest surprise was Andre Wisdom he was fantastic and kept captain Donati out the side he managed to get called up to the England squad no surprise with 28 games averaging 7.30!
Niang and Aranguiz are introduced to the Blackburn Rovers best 11
Great to see the Commercial income increasing and helping the club grow
Some Pictures to share!
End of season player performances
Overall everyone had a superb season again, every player almost rating over 7.00 which is promising!
Goalkeeper
I brought in Areola as first team replacement for Valdes but RAYA has been splendid now aged 22 in more mature and is developing to a good premier league goalkeeper he gained man of the match in the Liverpool game and pulled off some magnificent saves throughout the season definitely been one of my favourite players.
Defence
Wisdom managed to keep the likes of Donati and Henley out of the side but injuries have been a huge problem for them and Henley is struggling to develop and could leave the club this summer, Marcus Olsson again simply brilliant for the 3rd season running but credit to Clichy he has been fantastic too and is always a hard decision who to play in Left back, Rekik was one of my favourite signings of the season put in some solid defending and scoring 2 goals in the process in 14 games more goals than some of my attackers haha.
Midfield
Standouts Niang, Oikonomidis, Aranguiz, Frei and Loftus-Cheek all been brilliant always has been the strongest area at the club and may it continue! Conway has been fantastic but aged 32 now I think next season could be tough for him and along with Bridcutt who didn't feature much could be leaving this summer. Gomez currently on loan I still cant get a work permit for and I am struggling to sell costing me £7M and on wages of £60k a week its a burden.
Forward
An area which has been a problem this season, Rhodes struggled to perform and I sold in January, Moreno I have been disappointed with, my most expensive signing costing £15M didn't really perform and only managed to put in some good shifts towards the end of the season, he did 10 games without a goal and with that inconsistently I wont achieve higher than 6th... Romero has been doing decent but still only 19 is a working project and with a 'Wonderkid' status is developing quickly to be a leading premier league striker!
Conclusion
I did state this time last season I wanted a champions league spot, competition has been higher this season and with more competitions this season it has been tougher, but I'm feeling good about next season the squad is growing and has a high value with some big signing this summer and some tactical tweaks we are in for a good 4th season.

Cheers Dan! That Rekik from Ajax is a gem in CB! Few games to go now very tense
#315243 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory

Cheers brabbn Almost finished the season its so close me Chelsea, Leicester and Southampton battling for the Continental spot !

General
Things have started to look up and improve we are climbing the table and the latest win against Tottenham has helped massively
as they edged closer to us! Selling Rhodes was a good decision and Moreno has started banging them in. 14 games played in all
competitions and 2 losses... Must be doing something right
Premier League
8 games played since the last update 5 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss, the loss coming to man utd who are ripping the prem this season! We got a poor draw to Southampton had a player sent off in the early stages and got a number of clean sheets which is great. Credit to David Raya he has been superb and with Areola now its a great battle and the goalkeeper position is looking solid. Rekik got his first premier league goal and got us 3 points against Tottenham with 10 games to go its exciting! We are 5 points from 5th position with a game in hand and a continental spot could be achieved!
[
FA Cup
We managed to thrash Middlesbrough which was expected but then got drawn with BURNLEY local rivals which wasn't expected, they played well at their ground and got a replay again it was a tough battle and Niang fired us to the next round still undefeated by Burnley since I took over.
UEFA Europa League
AGAIN still the most successful competition we are taking part in and its becoming exciting! For our first time in Europe
we have managed these big name clubs and to go to Galatasaray and pick up a draw and qualify to the next round is a great
achievement, we have Lyon in the next round a winnable tie! Who knows how far we'll go...
Conclusion
10 games to go and Europa League still in sight its a important last few months. I'm hoping to get around 5/6th again in
the league it has been far too tough to achieve a champions league spot competition is very high this season but who knows
it's still achievable, I'd be delighted to get through to the next round of Europe but if we crash out to Lyon its still
a fantastic effort.
So the next update will be when the season finishes fingers crossed for a epic ending!
#314733 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
There was a lot of transfer activity taking place for a winter window as I needed the strengthen the squad and cash in on some players before value dropped and I am very pleased with the results!
Transfers in
Christopher Oikonomidis - £6M
After a very successful loan spell 10 goals and 5 assists in 19 games... I had to snap the young Austrilian up! he's a hidden
gem averaging 7.62 at 22 years old hes the perfect solution for the left wing! he was worth around £3M when he first
signed on loan he's now worth £14.5M!
Alphonse Areola - 900K
As mentioned the Goalkeeping position has been very week and Valdes has been very disappointing this season, Raya is first
team atm and putting in some fantastic shifts! But I managed to grab this lad for a steal of £900k from PSG! absolute bargain
he's young cheap wages and was averaging a 7.51 in the PSG reserves.
Andrea Petagna - Loan
Another position that needed strengthening was the forward position Andrea was the best player on the loan market valued at
£4.4M he currently plays for AC Milan and had very successful loan spells in the Serie A perfect addition as a back up for
Moreno
Karim Rekik - £5.5M
Cant believe I got this wonderkid for so cheap he's valued at £11.25M aged 23 and is a current Dutch squad! He's been Ajax's
best defender this season rating 7.18 in 22 matches! He'll become the key for the centre defence, he has fantastic physical
attributes and I'm looking forward to see how he does.
Transfers Out
There was a big money move for Jordan Rhodes to Wolves, sad to see him go but his value and performance was dropping and we managed to
receive a lovely sum of £10.5M delighted with the sale, Valdes also left I cashed in on him while I could last season he
conceded 22 goals in 28 appearances, this season he has already conceded 22 goals in 18 appearances and was very poor at
35 £500k is a great sale, also from selling Rhodes and Valdes I freed up £100k in wages!
You might notice Gomez, this lad I signed for £12M and hasn't played a game due to his work permit, my bad... I've sent
him on loan so he can get game time and hopefully eventually get a permit, also Steele left the squad for £250K I had no
plans for him in the squad.

General
Again this season is becoming a struggle in the premier league but doing well in other competitions, squad depth isn't a issue or been fatigue we are dropping points at home and I'm beginning to mess around with tactical change that hasn't really been much of a issue in the past! Players aren't performing to satisfaction and with the January transfer arrived some big changes will occur and despite of player reputation!
Premier league
So after 20 games we are sitting 11th in the league with only 4 wins in our last 10 games. I did win manager of the month of November going undefeated and recently somehow managed a 2-0 win against top of the league Arsenal it's amazing to think how we are 11th... it's definitely a much harder season this year.
Capital one/ FA Cup
We were very unfortunate to get knocked out the next round of the cup with a 1-0 loss to Liverpool, Firmino with a goal on the 83rd minute, But the FA Cup is upon us and we have Middlesbrough in the 3rd round, so let's hope of a decent cup run!
UEFA Europa League
The most successful competition we are competing in this season we I wouldn't have expected! We only just qualified by a point, but cant complain as I wasn't expected to qualify! We have Galatasaray in the next round and either Lyon or Brugge in the round after that! I do hope to qualify and push as far as possible in this competition!
Conclusion
Our position in the premier league has to improve dramatically, Valdez and Rhodes have been the most disappointing this season with Niang flying high this season with a average rating of 8.13 seems to be buy of the season so far!
#312959 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory

General
It's not been the greatest of starts to the campaign but we have a lot going on atm and still in all competitions, I am disappointed with some of performances of certain players, but we have got some big wins along the way! Also nice to see my youth facilities developing.
Europa League
It's been a very tough competition and we were handed the hardest group, but puts a lot of excitement into the game! We had a fantastic following to Russia with about 700 fans travelling the distance. We was very unlucky to draw to Stuttgart they scored a 90th minute goal for a 1-1 first result at home. We played our first European way game in Russia where we was destroyed by Moscow, that was followed by a game in Turkey against a good Fenerbahce side and came away with 3 points. We have 2 home games of the final 3 and joint of qualification!
Premier League
It's been a disappointing start to our second season in the Premier league, Injuries are a huge problem on this game I used a engine on FM15 because I think they are very unrealistic they happen far too often. I have 3 right backs currently and they are all injured! Donati in out for up to 6 months which is a problem. Niang best performing player this season so far has hit an injury, I thought I had good depth in the squad but it's a growing problem. It's good news for Loftus-Cheek though after 2 seasons on loan he has finally had his England call up!
We had a great start to the Premier league and had some tough opposition along the way, Moreno has been a huge disappointment so far costing me £15m and scoring 1 goal, Rhodes took awhile to get going too only scoring 4 goals all season so far currently sitting in 10th I hope this changes soon!
Anyway! looking forward to the next coming games with some easier opposition and to see how the Europa league group
stage is going to finish.
#312864 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
I got him on loan for a 3rd time, I haven't been able to afford him until this summer I put a £25m bid in but he didn't want to join... I left it a few weeks then Chelsea wanted £45m! Had to bring him on loan again
#312863 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Got a story update happening soon, midfield has done well very disappointed in Moreno though! We have a alot of depth which is good
#312862 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Cheers Dan been a huge financial increase, we are still in £100m debt from the owners but can't be much longer till a takeover happens
#311585 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
I'll be looking to update the Road to Glory every 10 games or so.... Let's hope for a successful season in Europe!
#311584 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Over £60M spent this transfer window... yes I feel disgusted with myself!
Been a club worth £32 million and be under a embargo to been worth over £300m after 2 seasons is a fantastic achievement in growth, we've had to make many signings because I need the depth as we'll be in 4 competitions this year...
We've had a good Pre season went too fast! We start the Premiership away to Palace then at home to Bournemouth
Expectations
Premiership: Top Half
Capital One Cup: 4th Round
FA Cup: 5th Round
Europa League: Group Stage
We are now ranked the 28th richest club in the world great to see and still constantly growing with all the income on sponsors, media and competitions
Our staff is growing at a rapid rate the board allowed us more staff in every department and we are now one of the highest ranked in the league in coaching and physio!
TRANSFERS IN/OUT
So I made a massive 10 signings, I'm not expecting fireworks I know a lot of matches will have to be made for chemistry to develop but here they are:
Andre Wisdom
First signing was Wisdom as I felt I needed to strengthen the defence he was cheap on the transfer list
Charles Aranguiz
Going to be the main midfielder worth £15M cost me £7.5 looks a bargain and could be real powerhouse
M'Baye Niang
He's back but full-time! Had a good season last year fans enjoyed him and will be fighting with Marshall for a role on the right wing
Joshua Guilavogui
Never heard of this lad but looks solid in defensive midfield and Bridcutt will be back up has fantastic physical and mental attributes
Horour Magnusson
Looks a gem in defence, bought for £1.2m from Juventus worth £7.5M now since I've sold a lot of my defenders this was a key area to strengthen
Gael Clichy
Well known to Arsenal and City fans, he was released by City so bought on a free on of the highest profile signings at the club a great capture with him a Marcus Olsson in Left back
Alejandro Gomez
Was a expensive buy, he's to take over the role on the left wing he has joined but still hasn't gained a work permit, hoping it gets sorted soon as my left side is a man down and currently looking for a short term loan.
Gerard Moreno
The most expensive buy in the history of the club costing £15M bought from Espanyol, managed 24 goals in 37 games last year for Espanyol I hope he can rip the BPL apart and put Rhodes on his feet for first spot
Fabian Frei
Great scout report again to strengthen the middle of the field as Butterfield I don't feel is good enough anymore current international in for a good season
Ruben Loftus-cheek
Fan Favorite for two seasons in a row I tried to sign him permanent but Chelsea wanted £45m! Yes he is worth it.... averages over 7.30 a season so yes we have him on loan once more!
Overall costs in/out
10 signings £62M spent, yes there's a lot to do and a lot of chemistry to be built but with this squad and some of the quality players I have brought in I feel very confident a lot of competition for places now. We have generated under £2m yes very poor but these players weren't worth much they was going out for contract so helped the wages a lot, either way we made 100% profit on Alfaro as I signed him on a free.
There might be a bit more activity yet... The Left wing is looking very week atm with just Conway to fill, but every other position has depth and pure quality. From how much I paid for the signings to how much they are in value in a few weeks has had a massive increase of £52M without the season even starting!
#311193 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory

Cheers Gaz, I'll get a summer transfer window summary done on in/outs
#311192 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Yeh its exciting times especially with all the money I'm not used too! Never been big clubs on FM, I managed to achieve Europe in 3 seasons on FM15 so to do it in 2 seasons was special got a lot of signings on the way

What a crazy season! 2nd Season with Blackburn, 1st season in the premier league and we have managed to finish 6th in the premier league above the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool but it did come down to the final game!
We went on a very poor run 6 games without a win and 12 games only scoring 3 goals.. we dropped into 8th but then when hit Southampton I changed my tactics around and managed to win the final 3 games! DID THE DOUBLE OVER MAN CITY.
A congratulation's to Arsenal they destroyed the league! Still beat them 1-0 a home
Here are some photos!
ARE YOU READY..................
Yes I won manager of the year award!
Here are some end of season reviews
Jordan Rhodes with a impressive 22 goals in his first season of the Premier league but well done to Donati the highest average rating in the squad and cost me £1.4M
Loftus-Cheek again Fans player of the season second year running well done sir !
Going to have fun with this
Been in the Premier league generates a huge income the club has grown massively now worth over £200M!!!!! The youth facilities are also been developed and I am hoping I can improve other facilities now I'm in Europe I need to maximize players potential!
Player Analysis
Again its remarkable how far my players have come and with a number of players still from the original championship squad they have developed so much especially, Rhodes, Hanley, Olsson, Marshall and Lowe!
Goalkeepers:
Both Valdez and Steele have been magnificent, but Valdez obviously has been number one and has made many superb saves and managed to help the club into the position we are in
Defence:
It was a season to remember for Donati 7.60 is insane and one of the highest end of season ratings I've ever had 10 assists in 23 games as a right back says it all. Olsson and Henley as mentioned had a solid season but the surprise for me was Shane Duffy he was rewarded with a new contract for his consistent performances in center back.
Midfield:
Loftus-Cheek worth £20M now at age 21 he was something special! But Lowe the other standout was brilliant, Bridcutt had a solid first season but with a number of players leaving such as Hope Akpan, Williamson, Niang, Lingard and Alfaro it's going to be a busy window for the midfield department!
Forwards:
Rhodes was brilliant again 22 goals in 29 games! Romero is my hot prospect and will be looking to send him out on loan next season to develop!
What a season it's been I didn't expect we'd come this far after 2 seasons, I am going to aim for a Champions League spot next season! But with the transfer budget this summer there is going to be a lot of activity in/out even for staff! SEASON 2 COMPLETE, HELLO EUROPE
#310286 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
It's been over a month since I last posted! It's been a busy period with University and work, but it's time to carry on the Blackburn Rovers road to glory! Things have been going very well and didn't expected to be in the position I am in in the league!
5th after 28 games we can now be considered serious contenders for a European spot! But I don't feel ready to take this on yet with still a number of players from last season in the championship featuring in my squad are playing superb but Europe But ill take every game as it comes!
Some great results below, two 1-0 wins over the likes of Arsenal and Man Utd, but also some very poor results getting knocked out the 5th round of the FA Cup by Fulham (championship) . But red cards have been a huge problem... we did do 4 games without a goal and 2 sending offs in a row, I was dreading the Man Utd game but we pulled off a 1-0 win with 10 men all game!
We did another great unbeaten run...
Romero managed to score a fantastic header on his debut but has struggled to make a impact since, hes only 19 and my be worth sending on loan so I don't lose his potential after all he did cost £4.5M!
Just a scene of Marshall performing a overhead kick
But a update of performances in position order
Goalkeeper
Valdes has been a great asset, has made some fantastic stops and important ones, Steele also fills in very well when selected.
Defenders
Donati and Olsson have been the standouts, Donati is form for player of the season gets a ridiculous amounts of assists too! Andreolli has been great at the back but could do with another center back in summer Hanley on his ways out the door very poor disciplinary record and doesn't perform! Most notable is Olsson's value which I couldn't believe at £6.5M
Midfield
Loftus-Cheek is carrying on his fine form from last season, consistent performer and hopefully can snap him up in summer but at £11.25M could cost alot! Marshal and Conway again playing well but can be inconsistent and midfield is area I could strengthen, David Cole is my U19 who is a high potential and is featuring in the first team from cup games.
Forward
As always Rhodes performs and is 3rd top goalscorer of the Premier league 18 goals in 23 games!
It's unreal how this season has panned out, I was aiming to survive relegation but instead we are sitting close to a champions league spot in my second season as rovers manager... Income is crazy in the prem, we are still in huge debt but are more stable, but I think tactics have been a huge factor and I may do a update at the end of the season on tactics and features I use to help people with top league careers! With 10 games to go it's exciting times for the football club!

Really gutted I was worried about him not developing and losing his value! I was desperate for ash for the club and was trying to make money at any corner to get money for Jan! First season in the premier league and sitting 8th is better than I did on FM15. Managed to stable the club worth over £100m now but still in huge debt hoping for a takeover soon to clear it all! Marshall, Rhodes, Olsson, Andreolli (CB), Valdes, Loftus-Cheek and Donati (RB) are the standouts so far.
#302580 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
So I haven't been updating much with xmas on it's way and working/University its a busy period!
Anyway we are becoming the Watford of the Premier in real life! Couldn't believe some of the performances we are putting in. Again Jordan Rhodes is banging them in for fun! VICTOR VALDES what a signing he has been making some of the best saves I've ever seen on football manager and is doing a superb job but we are still conceding too many which is a concern and needs addressing maybe with the Jan transfers getting a new defender.
Before the Liverpool game we were sitting in the European qualifications position in 5th Madness but we had to perform against Liverpool 2 days after our past fixture resulting in me playing my second team to rest legs and avoid injury.
2 Loses, 2 draws and 5 straight wins, earned me manger of the month of December which is great to achieve in my first season including a 4-2 win over Man City
Jordan Rhodes sitting second top goal scorer is wonderful to see, 14 goals in 15 appearances, but Ben Marshall has been a huge standout worth £10 million now had to hand him a new contract to keep bigger clubs away 18 appearances 10 goals and 5 assists cant complain.
I already made early action in the transfer market during December making a new record signing Maximiliano Romero just 17 years old worth £1.2M he's a wonder kid and I've heard good things online doing research on him hence I splashed £4.5M initial fee 14 finishing and playing for Argentina's U20 I'm not expecting fireworks but this lad could be the new Rhodes!
Alan Hutton a player who hasnt featured much I've sold for £200k which I made profit only featuring in 1/2 games due to Donati's incredible form I didn't want the lad been upset, also a sale for Killa for free who is getting old and hasn't got the ability for the premier league but thank you for your services
Very happy with how things are going at the moment and I hope they continue, expectations have changed to Mid table now which I think is a more realistic goal but we'll give it all we have!
#302577 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Cheers pal got the next 10 game update coming up!

Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Transfer in
Couldn't be happier at the moment we have adjusted well and all players are performing better than expected but BIG NEWS we managed to sign Victor Valdes cost only 175K but as you can see below we are paying huge wages but thanks to the board they pumped a lot of money into wages for me, also late on in the transfers we signed Andreolli for £1m who has ended up been a fantastic asset in defence.
Premier League
We are sitting in 10th which is much better than I expected! But as you can see we have a very strong goal difference which could mean a lot later in the season! We have some fantastic results so far, a 6-0 win over Leicester and a 5-1 win over Tottenham came as surprises the team worked magnificently Ewood park is becoming a fortress. We lost 3-2 to Arsenal which was 3-0 down and felt we deserved a draw, Swansea we was losing 1-0 and won 3-1! Most disappointing result so far is a home defeat to Watford 2-0. We got the 3rd round of the capital one cup which we was beaten by Tottenham a game we fought well but ended up haunting them in our latest game
As you can see below Jordan Rhodes is the League top Goal scorer and Donati who has kept Adam Henley out the side has been fantastic and for a right back is the 3rd top assister in the league
September was a good month Loftus-Cheek getting Young Player of the month and Rhodes 2nd and Marshall 3rd for player of the month.
Player performances
Valdes obviously has taken over Steele in the goalkeeping position and is putting in some good performances, Speroni was supposed to be back up but when Valdes was interested in joining this all changed also Man UTD put a loan offer for David Raya which I couldn't decline as this would be superb for his progression.
There has been huge improvements in defence since I'm going to up against the likes of Rooney, Augero, Kane, Costa etc... Due Donati putting in a worldie of a performance in right back and Henley been injured for the beginning of the season Donati is now first choice right back. As always Olsson has been fantastic again! New signing Andreolli has been superb but has recently got injured Hanley, Rose and Duffy fight for the other defence slot and Killa is now playing for the reserves.
I may as well do the strikers and midfield together as I only have two. Midfield hasn't barely changed all players from last year are flying in the premier league, Lowe, Loftus-Cheek, Marshall and Conway are keeping the likes of Niang, Lingard and Butterfield out the side. New boy Liam Bridcutt has been superb in Defensive midfield taking Williamsons spot. As always Rhodes 10 games 8 goals? Nobody is taking him from the position but back up Alfaro has been decent when Rhodes struggles and is a good sub in the side scoring 3/3 so far.
Club
We are now up there for the leading development clubs for the premier league with 7 players, but one standout player who was recruited for the youth side is this man David Cole, 16 years of age and is already 1 1/2
Also the club has started to begin work on the youth facilities which is fantastic to see and the club is now worth a massive 82M and growing but we are still in huge debt but wont affect the club anymore as we getting a ridiculous income from the premier league,
Glad to see the club is growing and performing avoiding the relegation at the moment is looking safe and getting a mid table position at this rate could be more realistic.
#301160 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Cheers mate! Ill get a update of the premier league soon at some point!
#301159 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Yes Loftus was fantastic got him back on loan for the prem! Managed to bring in a few more players before the transfer window shut might do a update after 10 games in the premier league. I put Rhodes into a false 9 role and he's scoring for fun! Just read your career very similar to my position too, managed to smash the last games of the season.
#301140 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Cheers! Managed to make a few more signings just before the window closed! may do a 10 game update as there is a lot going on.
#300883 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Cheers! yeh I had a tough fixture list! Doing decent atm may do a quick update after 10 games!
#300565 Blackburn Rovers Road To Glory
Elliott Kinsella-calverley
Staff in/out
We brought in a number of coaches and more scouts to live up to the demands of the premier league, only two staff left the club which I deemed not good enough
Players in/out
We had to strengthen the club in all areas (obviously) and managed to sell the players who didn't perform for me last season, I've managed to keep hold of all my players so far deciding myself which ones to keep or sell.
As you can notice I brought Loftus-Cheek back on loan he was voted player of the year last season! Managed to bring in Niang from AC Milan to cover Rhodes and Marshall! Also, Jesse Lingard from Manchester UTD was a high profile signing. I'm impressed with all the players I brought in and hope they have what it takes to keep us up!
Gutherie who didn't feature much last season sold for 500k, Tommy Spurr who was dreadful I sold for just under 1M, Evans didn't feature much either. Chris Taylor played last season but cant see him performing in the Premier league likewise with Kiota.
The Season is about to begin I wont be posting every 10 games as I felt it was too often so I'll post 20 games which will lead me to Xmas were I can do a update on league performances. I'll do a transfer activity log for January then another report after 18 games which will lead to the end of the season!

So very nervous for life in the Premier league but I feel suitably prepared and managed to bring in a number of signings which I'll later mention.
We gained 87M in TV rights and the club has grown from been worth 10M > 71M but we are still in a huge 147M debt hoping for a take over this season to clear all the debts like on FM15.
As you can see from below my expectations are avoid relegation which I'm playing safe but always end up over achieving coming from past experiences.
Delighted to see than before the season starts Henley gets injured AGAIN and Akpan is out for awhile
We are predicted 20th (Obviously) AND THANKYOU FOOTBALL MANAGER I will begin the start of the season Home at Liverpool then away to Arsenal
Due to the depands of the Premier League I managed to persuade by board to allow me more coaches I now have the best Defending, Attacking and technical coaches in the league which is going to be brilliant for the development of my players.

SO a quick end of season review we moved up 4 places to the 120th best ranked club not much of a change but I managed the achievement of concededing the least amount of goals in a season which I don't think I've ever achieved! Olsson made team of the year which was great for him Jordan Rhodes made it but on the subs bench
Loftus-Cheek won all the credit to the fans getting fans player of the year, signing of the season and young player of the season, there should be a managers player of the season because mine personally was Olsson, every game I felt comfortable with this lad knowing he'll always put in a good performance, he was superb at attacking and defending. If Adam Henley hadn't of got injured for 4 months I think he would have got the award for me!
Anyway, I've started summer and made 4 quality signings already for the club before next season has started, a lot of players on the transfer list to snap up! I'll be adding another season to this Blackburn Rovers road to glory been in Barclays Premier League I'll begin this with transfer activity etc and follow with Pre season, thanks for reading guys been a very successful season
